| Sekundarni povzetek: | Thesis is concerned with the sustainable operation of hotels. In hotel business and in the tourism sector generally the principles of sustainable development become increasingly more important. Besides environmental impacts there should be emphasized also economic and social aspects. The object of this study was a hotel from the hotel chain XY. The purpose of the study was to find the possibilities for more sustainable operation of the hotel. There were various environmental impacts included in the research as are waste, use of heat and electric energy and use of water. The special impact in the research was devoted to the problem of discarded food where besides environmental and economic also the ethical aspect was highlighted. |
