Povzetek
V magistrski nalogi smo pojasnili izkustveno učenje in njegove pozitivne učinke. Izkustveno učenje lahko razumemo kot neposredne izkušnje, ki jih učenci pridobijo v izobraževalnem procesu in lahko to, kar se učijo, tudi doživijo. Največji prednosti izkustvenega učenja sta, da so učenci tisti, ki so aktivni pri pouku in tudi njihovo znanje je kvalitetnejše. Po izvedbi učne ure o antični demokraciji, kjer smo v uvodni motivaciji odigrali igro volitev, smo ugotovili, da so učenci najbolje odgovarjali na vprašanja, ki so se nanašala hkrati na pomnjenje in na odigrano »igro«. Pri drugi učni uri izkustvenega učenja o soški fronti smo želeli, da se učenci vživijo v položaj drugih oseb. Pri tretji uri izkustvenega učenja, o življenju Slovencev v socialistični Jugoslaviji so učenci morali prevzeti vlogo, zaposlenega v marketingu določenega podjetja ter v skupinah izdelati reklamni plakat. Učitelji zgodovine so v intervjujih povedali, da vsi metodo izkustvenega učenja vpeljujejo v svoj pouk, pri različnih dejavnostih in tudi v učilnici, pri različnih zgodovinskih tematikah. Praviloma jim učne ure izkustvenega učenja uspejo vsako leto, bi jih pa še pogosteje vključili, če nebi bil učni načrt tako obsežen. Uporaba izkustvenega učenja pri pouku zgodovine v osnovni šoli pripomore k trajnejšemu in bolj kakovostnemu znanju učencev, učenci pa so pri pouku tudi veliko bolj motivirani za delo.

Experiential learning in history lessons in elementary school |

In the master's thesis, we explained experiential learning and its positive effects. We can understand experiential learning as a direct experience that students gain during the educational process, where they can also experience what they are learning. The greatest advantages of experiential educations are that the students are the ones who are active in class and that their knowledge gained is of a higher quality. After conduction a lesson on ancient democracy, where we played an election game in the introductory motivation, we found out that the students answered best on the questions that applied both on the memory and on the game, they were involved in. The second lesson of experimental learning was about the »Soška fronta« where we wanted students to empathize with the situation of other persons. In the third experimental learning, which was about »life of Slovenian people in socialist Yugoslavia« students had to take on the role of an employee in marketing department of a certain company and in groups make an advertisement poster. In interviews, history teachers stated that they all involve the method of experimental learning in their classes through different activities and also in the classroom where they learn on various history topics. In general, they are able to successfully implement experimental learning on yearly basis, however, they would include this kind of learning more often if the curriculum were not so extensive. The use of experimental learning in history classes in elementary schools contributes to a more sustainable and a higher quality knowledge for students, who are also more motivated for work during these lessons. |
