Aggressive behavior of children towards peers and preschool teachers in kindergarden |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The thesis deals with the issue of aggressive behaviour in children towards their kindergarten peers and teachers.
First, the thesis offers definitions of aggressive behaviour and provides various subdivisions and theories on aggressive behaviour. It then describes different factors influencing aggressive behaviour and outlines the reasons for such behaviour in a child and possible approaches in instances of aggression.
The practical part of the thesis is based on the analysis of a survey conducted on a sample of 100 professionals working in kindergartens. The data suggests that aggressive behaviour in kindergartens appears not only towards the peers but also towards professionals. The frequency of instances of aggression does not change according to the location of the kindergarten, whether in a city or in the countryside. In addition, professionals working in kindergartens note that those children that have already displayed aggression towards their peers often direct it to the professionals as well, particularly when they are prohibited to do something. The data also suggests that physical aggression is more common than verbal aggression and that in instances of aggression in a group, less than half of the professionals in kindergartens opt for requesting help. |

Povzetek (ePrints): |
Diplomska naloga obravnava problematiko agresivnega vedenja otrok do vrstnikov in vzgojiteljic v vrtcu.
Najprej so predstavljene definicije agresivnega vedenja, sledijo njegove različne delitve in predstavitev teorij o pojmovanju agresivnega vedenja.
