Impact of voluntary work on the professional identity of social pedagogue |

The theme of the diploma paper is voluntary work and its impact on the development of professional identity of social pedagogues. The theoretical part provides a definition, characteristics, volunteers and effects with the aim of presenting voluntary work. The second chapter presents social pedagogy, the competences of social pedagogues and development of professional identity. The empirical part gives qualitative analysis of two interviews with social pedagogues in order to establish how much experience with voluntary work affects the study of social pedagogy, professional work of social pedagogues and, last but not least, developing their professional identities. The results are presented in two schemes, which include six main parts: voluntary work, the study of social pedagogy, link between voluntary and professional social-pedagogical work, differences between voluntary and professional social-pedagogical work, professional social-pedagogical work and professional identity.
The research has showed that voluntary work affects the study of social pedagogy and professional work of social pedagogues as well as development of their professional identities. The extent of the influence depends on several factors. |

Diplomsko delo obravnava vpliv prostovoljnega dela na razvoj strokovne identitete socialnih pedagogov. V teoretičnem delu je najprej skozi definicijo, značilnosti, prostovoljce in učinke predstavljeno področje prostovoljnega dela. V drugem poglavju pa je predstavljeno področje socialne pedagogike in z njim povezane kompetence socialnih pedagogov ter oblikovanje strokovne identitete. V empiričnem delu sem s kvalitativno analizo dveh intervjujev z zaposlenima socialnima pedagoginjama poskušala dobiti vpogled v to, v kolikšni meri izkušnje s prostovoljnim delom vplivajo na študij socialne pedagogike, na strokovno delo socialnih pedagogov in ne nazadnje, na oblikovanje njihove strokovne identitete. Rezultati so predstavljeni s pomočjo dveh slikovnih shem, kjer je izluščenih šest glavnih sklopov: prostovoljno delo, študij socialne pedagogike, povezave med prostovoljnim in strokovnim socialnopedagoškim delom, razlike med prostovoljnim in strokovnim socialnopedagoškim delom, strokovno socialnopedagoško delo in strokovna identiteta.
S pomočjo raziskave je bilo ugotovljeno, da prostovoljno delo vpliva tako na študij socialne pedagogike in strokovno delo socialnih pedagogov kot tudi na oblikovanje njihove strokovne identitete. Kolikšen je ta vpliv, pa je odvisno od več dejavnikov. |
