Sekundarni naslov: | Aerobic degradation of nitrogen compounds in waste waters - study of magnetic field impact |
Sekundarni povzetek: | Biological waste water treatment is intended for reducing the environmental pollution. For this purpose different treatment plants are in use with different kinds of operating modes. The aim of our study was to determine the effect of magnetic field on the synthetic wastewater treatment efficiency in aerobic continuous and batch reactor. We attempted to achieve reproducible preparation of synthetic wastewater regarding the concentration of total nitrogen. Thus the final results obtained for different operating modes can be compared. The outlet concentration of total nitrogen was higher in both reactors when magnetic field was used in the both reactors with magnet lower as compared to operation without the magnet. High wastewater treatment efficiency has been achieved (almost 98 %) for aerobic continuous and batch reactor, however using magnetic field the efficiency is slightly higher and it is achieved earlier. |
