Povzetek
Živimo v družbi, v kateri otroci zaradi različnih dejavnikov že v zgodnjem obdobju doživljajo stres. Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vpliv stresnih situacij na obnašanje predšolskega otroka je sestavljeno iz dveh delov, in sicer iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela je opredeljen stres, podrobneje so opisani povzročitelji stresa pri otrocih in znaki stresa. Opisana je vloga odraslega in strategije soočanja otrok s stresom. V empiričnem delu je predstavljena raziskava o vplivu stresa na obnašanje otrok. V raziskavi so sodelovali vzgojitelji, pomočniki vzgojiteljev, mame in očetje pomurskih vrtcev. V raziskavi smo želeli ugotoviti, ali anketiranci opažajo stres pri otrocih, kateri so najpogostejši vzroki stresa, ali stres vpliva na vedenje predšolskega otroka, znake stresa, kako se anketiranci odzivajo in kako pripravljajo predšolskega otroka, da se bo sam soočal s težavami. Podatke smo zbirali s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov in jih kasneje obdelali v programu SPSS. Raziskava je pokazala, da so vzgojitelji in pomočniki vzgojiteljev tisti, ki pogosteje zaznavajo stres pri predšolskih otrocih. Ugotovili smo, da sta najpogostejša vzroka za nastanek stresa pri otrocih ločitev staršev in težave v družini. Ena izmed ugotovitev je tudi, da večina anketirancev meni, da stres vpliva na vedenje otrok. Na podlagi rezultatov lahko opazimo, da večina anketirancev zaznava stres pri predšolskih otrocih.

We live in a society, which is full of factors that cause stress in children from their early ages. This diploma paper, entitled The influence of stressful situations on a preschool child's behaviour, consists of two parts, the theoretical and the empirical part. The theoretical part of this paper introduces the topic of stress, describes the agents of stress as well stress symptoms in children. This part also focuses on the role of an adult in such situations and children's stress management strategies. The empirical part of this thesis presents a research on the influence of stress on children's behaviour. Our research sample included preschool teachers, preschool teacher's assistants and parents of children attending kindergartens of the Pomurje region. The aim of this research was to find out if the respondents observe stress in children, what are the most common stressors and stress symptoms, how the respondents react to stress and the ways in which they help children to manage stressful situations in an effective way by themselves. The data has been collected by using a questionnaire and later processed by using a computer programme SPSS. Our findings show that preschool teachers and their assistants are the ones who more often notice stress in preschool children. We have found out that stress in children most likely results from their parents' divorce and family problems in general. One of our findings also suggests that stress influences children's behaviour. Based on the results, we can conclude that most of the respondents observe stress in preschool children. |
