Working with gifred students in the field of visual arts - analysis of the situation in slovene primary schools |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
The Master's thesis titled "Working with gifted students in the field of visual arts - analysis of the situation in Slovene primary schools' came into existence with the intention of researching the current state of working with art talented students and forming improvement suggestions in the field. It is about current problems, which, regardless of many researches, are being rather neglected around the world as well as in Slovenia since the field of art talent in the educational system is unfortunately still left in the background. In the theoretical part, we first studied the previous worldwide and domestic knowledge of the field of giftedness, further; we focused on the field of visual art talent, which presents the leading thread of our work. In the thesis are presented the characteristics of art talented students, the methods of identification and adjusted forms of work with students, which are identified as talented in this field. In the empirical part, we present results of the research that took place at Slovene elementary schools. By means of questionnaires, which we sent in a Web form to art teachers at Slovene schools, we analysed the present state of working with art talented students. We established that work with art talented students at Slovene schools runs along stable lines, which are determined by the Primary School Act and Curriculum, yet there is a great deal of place for improvement in this field. Based on the acquired results, we formed suggestions for improvements, which we present in the concluding part of the thesis. |
