Glavni vir informacij so članki v strokovnih znanstvenih revijah in strokovne knjige. Rezultati: V našem primeru smo z digitalno tehniko laserskega zajemanja podatkov površino virtualnega modela natančno podvojili in rekonstruirali. Kovinsko bazo smo izdelali na virtualnem modelu z dobrim prileganjem na izvorni mavčni model. S stereolitografijo smo uspešno izdelali polimerni vzorec kovinske baze.

Sekundarni naslov: Additive tehnology [!] in dental prosthetics with presentation of metal framework manufacturing
Sekundarni povzetek: Introduction: Along with global aging, the need for prosthetic rehabilitation is increasing. Despite the current technology development and the popularity of dental implants, the oral healthcare is often limited to removable prosthesis, due to various contraindications and shortage of financial means. In this case, an appropriately designed removable partial prosthesis with a metal framework is the only choice for the restoration of lost teeth and hence the gnathological function. Purpose: The purpose of the diploma work is to review the extant additive technologies in the dental laboratory, and to describe and professionally demonstrate the process of manufacturing a metal base by using the stereolithographic production technology. Upon this basis, it is necessary to determine whether the additive technologies are suitable for the manufacture of a metal base for the quality care of patients. Methods: A descriptive research method was used in the theoretical part of the diploma work. The main sources of information were the articles in professional scientific journals and professional books. The literature was searched in libraries and professional databases Cobiss, PubMed, Medline, Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. It includes domestic and foreign professional sources, mainly in the English language. In the practical part, a metal framework was created in the laboratory under the supervision of a mentor. Thus, the process of manufacturing a metal framework by using a computer-aided design and stereolithography is presented. Results: The digital model of laser data capture was accurately duplicated and reconstructed by the surface of the virtual model. The metal framework was built on a virtual model with adequate adaptation to the original gypsum model. By using stereolithography, the polymeric sample of the metal base was successfully manufactured. All details of the polymeric sample were precisely duplicated in metal by the precision casting process. The metal base was completed and polished using the traditional dental laboratory procedure and evaluated on the original plaster model. According to the recommended practice, the product was assessed to be of good quality. Discussion and conclusion: According to the current trends, the need for prosthetic care with a metal framework will continue to be high. In providing quality care for patients with a metal framework and the market competitive advantage, the additive technology has an exceptional potential. A prerequisite for a successful prosthetic oral care is a well-trained laboratory employee, with their expertise and knowledge of additive technologies.
