Povzetek

Magistrsko delo z naslovom Evalvacija i-učbenika za matematiko v osnovni šoli: algebrski izrazi v 8. razredu je razdeljena na dva dela, teoretični in eksperimentalni del. V teoretičnem delu smo se najprej osredotočili na informacijsko-komunikacijsko tehnologijo (IKT), nato pa na načine poučevanja s to tehnologijo. V nadaljevanju sledi pregled tipov znanja, s pomočjo katerih se glede na raven doseženega znanja opišejo dosežki učencev, ki so učencem in učiteljem kot povratna informacija o doseganju posameznih učnih ciljev. Temu sledi literatura o poučevanju algebre v osnovni šoli ter vsebine, ki se nanašajo na izraze s spremenljivkami. Za konec teoretičnega dela pa še sledi pregled nekaterih evalvacij i-učbenika. V eksperimentalnem delu smo s pomočjo pedagoškega eksperimenta izvedli raziskavo o učinkovitosti poučevanja z uporabo i-učbenika za matematiko Matematika 8 s portala https://eucbeniki.sio.si/. Evalvacijo i-učbenika smo izvedli na vsebini izrazi s spremenljivkami, ki pa je ni še nihče evalviral, obenem pa se vsebina zaradi algebrskih konceptov zdi manj primerna za vizualizacijo, ki je ena najmočnejših orodij digitalnih virov. V ta namen smo izdelali načrt pedagoškega eksperimenta, s pomočjo katerega smo primerjali učne dosežke učencev pri klasičnem poučevanju s tiskanim učbenikom in poučevanju z i-učbenikom. Obe skupini sem poučevala sama. Zanimalo nas je, kateri način poučevanja bo prinesel boljše učne rezultate. Rezultati so pokazali, da je bila eksperimentalna skupina nekoliko boljša kot kontrolna, kljub temu pa razlika ni bila statistično značilna. Zraven pedagoškega eksperimenta smo štirje študentje izvedli še kratko anketo o poučevanju matematike z uporabo IKT. Izvedli smo jo tako, da smo k inicialnemu preizkusu znanja dodali kratko anketo za obe skupini, pri finalnem preizkusu znanja pa smo anketo dodali samo pri eksperimentalni skupini. Rezultati ankete so pokazali, da se učenci najlažje učijo matematiko tako, da si naredijo zapiske ali pa si berejo na glas. Prav tako je večina učencev menila, da bi jim uporaba računalnika pri učenju matematike pomagala (tudi pri domačih nalogah), kar se je pri končni anketi tudi potrdilo. Zahtevnost nalog pri reševanju med pedagoškim eksperimentom je eksperimentalna skupina ocenila kot ustrezno.

Sekundarni povzetek: The master thesis with the title The evaluation of the i-textbook for mathematics in primary schools: algebraic expressions in the 8th grade is divided into two parts, the theoretical and experimental part. The theoretical part firstly focuses on the Information and communications technology (ICT) and afterwards on the teaching possibilities with this technology. This is followed by an overview of knowledge types, with the help of which pupils achievements are described according to the level of achieved knowledge. They serve as the feedback on single learning objectives for pupils as well as teachers. This is followed by the literature about teaching algebra in primary school as well as contents concerning the expressions with variables. At the end of the theoretical part there is also an overview of some evaluations of the i-textbook. The experimental part was backed up with a pedagogical experiment with the help of which we conducted a research about the effectiveness of teaching with the help of the i-textbook for mathematics Mathematics 8 from the portal https://eucbeniki.sio.si/. The evaluation of the i-textbook was performed on the content expressions with variables, which was not evaluated yet, at the same time due to its algebraic concepts the content seems less suitable for visualisation, which is one of the most powerful digital source tools. Therefore we performed a pedagogical experiment plan, with the help of which we compared the learning achievements of pupils achieved with the classical learning method with printed textbooks to those achieved with an i-textbook. I taught bought groups by myself. We were interested in which teaching technique would deliver better learning results. The results showed, that the experimental group was slightly better than the control one, however, the difference was not statistically significant. In addition to the pedagogical experiment, four students, myself included, performed also a short questionnaire about teaching mathematics with the use of ICT. When the initial test was performed we handed out a short questionnaire for both groups, while at the final test we only added a questionnaire for the experimental group. The questionnaire results showed that pupils find it easiest to learn mathematics by making notes or reading out loud. The majority of pupils also believed, that the use of a computer would help them learning mathematics (also when doing homework), this was also shown at the final questionnaire. The level of difficulty of the tasks of the pedagogical experiment was evaluated as appropriate by the experimental group.
