Povzetek
Namen magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, v kolikšni meri so učenci/dijaki, učitelji in vzgojitelji zadovoljni z izvedenimi aktivnostmi v Centru eksperimentov Maribor (CEM) za namen izboljšanja ponudbe. Ker iz objavljenih tujih raziskav ugotavljamo, da obiskovalci znanstvenih centrov (npr. Ontario v Kanadi) tem zelo zaupajo, nas je prav tako zanimalo komu anketirani učenci/dijaki naše raziskave najbolj zaupajo. Tuje raziskave še poročajo, da se obiskovalcem centra poveča motivacija za naravoslovne vsebine, kar smo želeli tudi preveriti. V vzorec smo zajeli 304 učencev/dijakov, 19 učiteljev in 3 vzgojitelje. S pomočjo neparametričnih testov smo ugotovili, da so vsi anketiranci v splošnem zadovoljni z izvedenimi aktivnostmi. Učenci/dijaki so najpogosteje obiskali center v sklopu naravoslovnega dneva in nekoliko pogosteje so ga obiskali srednješolci. Učenci/dijaki redko obiskujejo znanstvene centre in najbolj zaupajo, glede točnosti in zanesljivosti informacij, družini in prijateljem. Zaupanje znanstvenim centrom in izobraževalnim ustanovam pa prav tako precej zaupajo. Udeleženci raziskave so v CEM najpogosteje izvedli delavnico izdelovanja bioplastike. Učitelji so se odločili za obisk centra zaradi velikega nabora različnih delavnic in niso imeli težav z iskanjem podatkov o centru. S katalogom so bili zadovoljni, vendar menijo, da so pomanjkljivo napisani cilji delavnic. Navajajo, da učence/dijake navdušujejo za naravoslovje in v pouk vpeljujejo učenje z raziskovanjem in eksperimentalno delo. Vzgojitelji so izvedeli za CEM od zaposlenih v vrtcu in za izvajanje aktivnosti so se odločili zaradi zanimivih delavnic v sklopu abonmaja. V CEM izvajajo zanimive in poučne naravoslovne delavnice, saj je bila večina anketirancev zadovoljnih z izvedbo le teh. Ugotavljamo, da je delavnica izdelovanja bioplastike trenutno najbolj aktualna, kakor tudi abonma za vrtce. Smiselno je obnoviti delavnice, ki niso bile nikoli izbrane in potrebno je posodobiti zapis ciljev v katalogu delavnic, saj je to učitelje največkrat zmotilo. Predlagamo pripravo programa za naravoslovne dneve z realizacijo učenja z raziskovanjem in ne le "hands-on" izvedbe. Aktivna udeležba na delavnicah znanstvenega centra učencem poveča motivacijo za učenje naravoslovnih vsebin, kar bi lahko posledično vodilo v izboljšanje rezultatov mednarodnih raziskav, kot je PISA.

The purpose of the master's thesis is to determine the extent to which pupuls, teachers and educators are satisfied with the activities carried out in the Center of Experiments Maribor, for the purpose of improving its offer. Since published foreign studies found out that visitors of science centers (e. g., Ontario in Canada) trust these centers a lot, we were also interested in whom the pupils, involved in our research, trust the most. Foreign studies report that visitors of science centers gain motivation for science, which is what we also wanted to check. We included 304 pupils, 19 teachers and 3 educators in the sample. Using non-parametric tests, we found that all respondents are generally satisfied with the activities. Most frequently, pupils visited the center as part of the science day and more often, the center was visited by secondary school students. Pupils rarely visit science centers. Regading the accuracy and reliability of information, they trust their family and friends most. They also trust science centers and educational institutions a lot. Participants in the research were most often involved in Bioplastics Workshop of the CEM. The teachers decided to visit the center due to its wide range of different workshops and did not have any difficulties finding information about the center. They were satisfied with the catalog, but they believe that the goals of workshops are written inadequately. Teachers say they encourage pupils to become enthusiastic about science and they teach research and experimental work. The educators learned about the CEM from the kindergarten staff and decided to perform activities because of interesting workshops. In the CEM, interesting and informative science workshops are carried out, since most of the respondents were satisfied with their implementation. We found out that the Bioplastics Workshop is most relevant at the moment, and so is the possibility of ticket subscription for kindergartens. It would make sense to renew the workshops that have never been selected and update the goals of workshops, since the information about them is inadequate, which was the main thing that the teachers disliked. We suggest the preparation of a programme for science days, with the realization of learning through research and not just through hands-on experience. Active participation at the workshops of the science center increases the motivation for learning science, which might consequently lead to the improvement of the results of international research. |
