Povzetek

Magistrsko delo z naslovom Skrb za čisto okolje in ravnanje z odpadki pri delu v 4. razredih osnovne šole v Pomurski regiji je sestavljeno iz dveh delov - teoretičnega in empiričnega. V teoretičnem delu smo najprej predstavili pomen naravoslovja in tehnike v otrokovem življenju. Sledi analiza učnega načrta za pouk naravoslovja in tehnike v četrtem razredu s stališča o skrbi za čisto okolje in ravnanju z odpadki pri delu. Pregledali in analizirali smo učbenike za pouk naravoslovja in tehnike v četrtem razredu. Nadalje smo predstavili osnovne šole, na katerih je potekalo anketiranje, in projekt Ekošola kot načina življenja. Na koncu smo še predstavili, kako skrbimo za okolje, v katerem živimo, ter kako ravnamo z odpadki in kako jih ločujemo. V empiričnem delu smo predstavili rezultate empirične raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli na vzorcu stoenaindvajsetih četrtošolcev iz treh primestnih in treh mestnih osnovnih šol. Ugotovili smo, da anketirani učenci pretežno skrbijo za okolje, v katerem živijo, in ločujejo odpadke. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov zaključujemo, da so anketirani učenci usvojili veliko znanja o skrbi za čisto okolje in se tudi zavedajo, kako pomembno je, da lepo skrbijo za okolje, v katerem živijo. Večina anketiranih učencev ve, da je njihova šola vključena v program Ekošola in kaj je bistvo tega programa. Menijo tudi, da je šola tista, kjer dobijo največ informacij o skrbi za čisto okolje, udeležujejo se tudi različnih zbiralnih akcij (prevladuje akcija zbiranja starega papirja) in na različne načine sami prispevajo k čisti, lepši in varnejši naravi, najbolj tako, da ločujejo odpadke in jih ne odmetavajo v naravo. Boljše rezultate smo pričakovali pri poznavanju domačega kraja, saj je precej učencev odgovorilo, da v njihovi bližini ni nobenega zbirnega centra, čeprav ima vsaka občina urejen vsaj en zbirni center.

Sekundarni povzetek: Master's thesis Concern for a Clean Environment and Waste Management at Work with Fourth Grade Pupils of Primary Schools in Pomurje Area is composed of two parts - theoretical and empirical. In theoretical part we first present the significance of science and technology in the child's life. We analysed the lesson plan for teaching science and technology in the fourth grade from the aspects of an environmental concern and waste management at work. We also reviewed and analysed coursebooks for science and technology in the fourth grade. We then continue with the presentation of primary schools, that attended in a survey; and presentation of the Eco-school program as a way of life. In the end, we present the care for our environment, how we manage our waste and how we separate the waste. In the empirical part, we present the results of an empirical study, which was carried out on the sample of 121 fourth graders from three suburban and three urban primary schools. We found that the surveyed pupils greatly care about the environment they live in, and they do separate their waste. From the obtained results, we come to conclusion that the surveyed pupils have gained a lot of knowledge about the care for the clean environment and are also aware of the importance of taking a good care of the environment which they live in. The vast majority of surveyed pupils know that their school is included in the Eco-school program, and what the essence of this program is. They also consider that the school is a place where they get the most of the information about the care for a clean environment, and they also take part in various collecting campaigns (the collecting campaign is dominated by the collection of old paper), and in various ways contribute to clean, more beautiful and safer nature, by separating waste and not disposing them in nature. We expected better results in the knowledge of their home towns, as many pupils answered that there was no assembly center in their districts, although each municipality has at least one collection center.
