diplomsko delo
Pridobljene rezultate smo analizirali z deskriptivno in bivariatno statistiko.

Developing motor abilities through the elementary handball game |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
In the diploma paper Developing motor abilities through the elementary handball game it was ascertained that there were differences in motor talent among the children who were included in a handball programme within a handball club (experimental group) and the ones who did not attend any additional handball programme (control group). A non-random sample was used in the diploma research, which was based on children from a specific population aged 5 to 7. The sample included 48 children, divided by gender (33 girls and 15 boys) and age groups (from 60 to 64 months, from 65 to 69 months, from 70 to 74 months, and from 75 to 79 months of age). A quantitative technique of data collection was used for the survey. Based on the outcome of nine motor skill assessments, motor efficiency (ME) was calculated. The data obtained were processed and analysed using descriptive and bivariate statistics. The outcome of the research showed that the experimental group (ME = 0.305) achieved much better results compared to the control group (ME = -0.328). Both groups differed statistically significantly (p < 0.05) in the following tests: rolling the ball around the foot, zig-zag run, throwing a ball into a distance, clapping hands in front of the chest and behind the back, and a 300-metre run with a group start. The respondent children of the age group 75-79 months were the most efficient ones in movement (ME = 0.700). |
