Povzetek

Cilj tega dela je predstaviti in prikazati medij, ki nosi ime "interaktivna bela tabla", nove možnosti, ki jih njegova uporaba odpira za poučevanje in didaktično smiselne možnosti za uporabo tega tehnološkega učnega orodja. V ta namen so teoretični in praktični vidiki med seboj povezani. Pričujoče delo je razdeljeno na dva dela. V prvem delu je treba ustvariti splošni pregled osnov interaktivnih tabel, informacijsko komunikacijske tehnologije, saj je zelo pomembna tehnologija interaktivne bele table in njena uporaba v šoli. Nato je na kratko pojasnjen pristop učne teorije, na podlagi katerega lahko interaktivna tabla najde pot v učilnico. Kaj obljublja uporaba interaktivne bele table pri poučevanju? Za odgovor na to vprašanje je potreben uvod, ki med drugim temelji na izrazu "novi mediji", ki je omenjen v naslovu diplomske naloge in na teoretičnem ozadju konstruktivizma v poučevanju tujih jezikov. Pomembno je razložiti zahteve za optimalno uporabo in možne uporabe interaktivnih tabel v učilnici. Interaktivna tabla s svojimi orodji, spremljajočo programsko opremo in obrobnimi napravami odpira nove in zahtevne priložnosti za poučevanje. Potreben je tudi podroben opis prednosti in slabosti interaktivnih tabel. V drugem delu magistrske naloge je povzet rezultat raziskave. Ta del dela je namenjen učiteljem pomurskih šol, ki uporabljajo ali ne interaktivne bele table v učilnici ali ki jih zanima učinkovito poučevanje z interaktivnimi tablami, njihov namen pa je, da jim ponudi vpogled v rezultate in glavne zaključke različnih študij. Izbrane so bile raziskave, ki se osredotočajo na različna stališča. Večina študij v drugih državah sproža dodatna vprašanja in priporočila. Naloga nadaljnjih raziskav ostaja širša znanstvena raziskava, ki se veliko ukvarja s ciljnimi vprašanji. Poskuša se predstaviti predmetna področja za poznejše študije, ki bi verjetno prinesle plodne rezultate. To delo je za učitelje še posebej zanimivo zaradi vsebinske usmeritve v teoretične in praktične vidike uporabe interaktivnih tabel in izvedbe rezultatov različnih študij, ki so še vedno skeptični do novega medija ali so šele stopili v stik s tem novim medijem, morda pa tudi za tiste, ki že imajo izkušnje z uporabo interaktivnih tabel.

Sekundarni povzetek: The aim of this paper is to present a medium, named ”interactive whiteboard”, new possibilities resulting from its use for teaching, and didactically comprehensive possibilities for using this particular technological teaching tool. For this purpose, theoretical as well as empirical aspects are closely interacted. This master's thesis consist of two parts. First part offers a basic overview of interactive whiteboards and information and communications technology since technology of an interactive whiteboard and its use in school environment is very important. This is followed by a short definition of teaching theory, based on which an interactive whiteboard can find a way to a classroom. What has a use of a whiteboard to offer in teaching? The answer to this question requires an introduction, which is, among others, based on the term »new medium«, mentioned in the title of this paper and is a part of theoretical background to constructivism on the area of foreign language teaching. It is important to explain requirements for optimal use and possible uses of interactive whiteboards in the classroom. An interactive whiteboard with its tools, accompanying software and additional devices opens new and more advanced teaching possibilities. A detailed description of advantages and disadvantages of interactive whiteboards is also needed. The second part of this master's thesis presents a summary of research results. This part is addressed to teachers of Pomurje schools, where interactive whiteboards are whether used or not or to those interested in effective teaching using interactive whiteboards, with the purpose of offering an insight into the results and main conclusions obtained from different studies. Research papers focusing on different points of view were chosen regarding that. In foreign countries most of the studies arouse additional questions and recommendations. The task of further research work remains a wider scientific research that deals a lot with target questions. It is attempted to present subject areas for further studies, which could possibly bring fruitful results. Due to its content direction into theoretical and practical aspects of the use of interactive whiteboards as well as the implementation of results from different studies, this paper is especially interesting for teachers who are still sceptical about this new medium or have just interacted with it, or perhaps for those who already have experiences with the use of interactive whiteboards, too.
