Izrazje in spolni stereotipi v izbranih katalogih igrač

Povzetek

Magistrsko delo uvodoma obravnava tematiko igrač in iger, pomen igre, vrste igrač in iger, igrače in igre glede na starostno obdobje otrok ter spolne stereotipe, ki se ob tem kažejo. V empiričnem delu je zbrano izrazje s področja igrač in iger, ki je bilo izpisano iz katalogov igrač iz obdobja od 30. oktobra 2019 do 7. januarja 2020. Izrazje je glede na vrsto predmetnosti klasificirano na tematske skupine in analizirano na besedotvorni ter leksikalni ravni. Ugotovljeno je, da je večina izrazov večbesednih, npr. nindža želva, večnamenska igralna miza, žirafa Sophie za grizenje, in da so izrazi pogosto samostalniške besedne zveze z levim prilastkom, npr. pametni kuža, namizni biljard, zabavna tablica. Opazna je tudi prisotnost prevzetih izrazov v citatni obliki, npr. Activity Junior, igra Twister, trikolesnik Be Fun. Med izpeljankami po pričakovanjih izstopajo manjšalnice, npr. avtomobilček, poganjalček, ropotuljica, žogica. Med zbranimi izrazi so tudi taki, ki v SSKJ2 še niso evidentirani, npr. robojajček, transformer, vstavljanka. Spolni stereotipi so opazovani glede na pojavljanje v oglaševalskih in promocijskih katalogih ter v ponazarjalnih zgledih v SSKJ2. Ugotovljena je prisotnost spolnih stereotipov, ki igrače in igre delijo glede na predpostavko o primernosti za deklice oz. dečke (npr. deklice se igrajo s punčkami), vendar pa so na določenih mestih ti stereotipi že preseženi. V analiziranih katalogih tako najdemo npr. gasilski tovornjak poveljnice gasilcev, na slikah že opazimo, da se z avtomobilčki igrajo deklice in dečki, da so deklice gradbinke ipd.

Sekundarni povzetek:	The master's thesis at the beginning deals with the topic of toys and games, the types of games and toys and games according to the different age cycles of children and gender stereotypes that emerge. The empirical part contains terms from the field of toys and games, which were extracted from toy catalogues from the period from 30th October 2019 to 7th January 2020. The terms are classified into thematic groups according to the subject type classification and analysed on the word-forming and lexical level. It has been found, that most expressions are multiword, e.g. ninja turtles, multi-purpose game table, giraffe Sophie for biting and that the terms are often noun phrases with a left adjective, e.g. smart dog, table billiards, entertainment table. The presence of borrowed terms in citation form is also noticeable, e.g. Activity Junior, game Twister, tricycle Be Fun. As expected, diminutives stand out among the derivatives, e.g. car, propeller, rattle, ball. Among the collected terms are also those that are not yet recorded in SSKJ2, e.g. robot eggs, transformer, "vstavljanka". Gender stereotypes are observed in terms of appearances in advertising and promotional catalogues as well as in illustrative examples in SSKJ2. The presence of gender stereotypes has been established, which divide toys and games according to the assumption of suitability for girls or boys (e.g. girls play with dolls), but in certain places these stereotypes are already overcome. In the analysed catalogues we find e.g. fire trucks of the fire brigade commander, we can already see in the pictures that girls and boys are playing with cars, that girls are construction workers, etc.
