magistrsko delo

Sekundarni naslov: Mary' poems by Hugolin Sattner and their significance in the liturgy
Sekundarni povzetek: Father Hugolin Sattner is one of the most important Slovene church composers, who, as an ardent Cecilian, advocated visible changes in Slovene church music. His religious work did not give him the opportunity to rest during his transfer to Ljubljana, but despite his constant professional work, he grew a strong desire for music education. He really fulfilled that and only after the age of fifty did he flourish musically. Despite his late studies, his oeuvre is extensive, and his style is distinctly melodic, simple and technically understandable. In order for the use of Mary's songs to be properly placed in worship, the master's thesis continues with the presentation of the liturgy, the correct placement of Mary's songs in worship, Mary's holidays throughout the church year, and understanding of Slovene religiosity and worship of Mary, about whom church composers sang again and again in their compositions. Sattner was no exception, as his oeuvre of Mary's poems is wide. The master's thesis concludes with analyzes of selected Sattner's poems of Mary, which bring the reader closer to the composer's style and the immeasurable sensuality of the melody in connection with the text. The purpose of the task is to achieve a lively and active inclusion of Mary's songs in worship, especially Sattner's.
