diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študijskega programa I. stopnje
Povzetek
V diplomskem delu smo sintetizirali magnetne nanodelce magnetita z obarjanjem ionov Fe2+ in Fe3+. Magnetit smo skupaj sintetizirali trikrat.
Curie temperature).

Synthesis of magnetic nanoparticles with a planetary micromill |
Sekundarni povzetek: |
In the bachelor’s thesis, we synthesized magnetic nanoparticles of magnetite by precipitation of Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions. Magnetite was synthesized three times. The synthesized nanoparticles in combination with copper were milled in different mass ratios with a planetary micromill under the same conditions. Each milling was performed at 600 rpm. We milled three times for two cycles. One milling cycle consisted of 30 min milling and a 30 min pause. As a result, we milled one sample for 3 hours. After numerous experiments with different representative selections, a well-defined and only a single sample of 1 g of copper and 1 g of magnetite of the second synthesis was purged with inert gas argon to determine whether it is affected by an inert atmosphere. This sample was subsequently compared with the same content and milling conditions of the sample, except that the milling was performed in an atmosphere represented by air. Subsequently, each sample group was analyzed by appropriate methods. Analyzes were performed with both milled samples and samples that were only crushed in a pestle mortar.
We performed thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-Ray powder diffraction (XRD), and used a system for laser measurement of particle size and zeta potential which is also called the dynamic light scattering method (DLS). We also measured the Curie temperature (Tc).
The bachelor’s thesis presents an analysis where the purpose was to synthesize magnetic nanoparticles. The particles are used in the human body for medical purposes at a temperature of 42 °C or 43 °C because at this temperature, the particles lose their magnetic properties. |
