Povzetek
V magistrskem delu smo obravnavali vlogo učitelja pri delu z otroki in mladostniki s čustvenimi in vedenjskimi motnjami (v nadaljevanju ČVM), s študijo primera na Osnovni šoli Veržej. Institucija velja za edinstveno v Sloveniji, saj jo sestavljajo tri ločene enote; in sicer vrtec, zavod za vzgojni program otrok in mladostnikov s ČVM iz vse Slovenije ter osnovna šola, ki izobražuje otroke šolskega okoliša in otroke, ki bivajo v zavodu. V teoretičnem delu so opisane čustvene in vedenjske motnje otrok in mladostnikov, na kakšen način se izražajo v šolskem okolju in kar je najpomembnejše, kako se učitelj z vsem tem spopada med učno uro. Podatke v empiričnem delu, potrebne za študijo primera, smo pridobili s pomočjo metode intervjuja, v katerem je sodelovalo osem učiteljev predmetne stopnje na OŠ Veržej. Ugotavljamo, da je za učitelje v Osnovni šoli Veržej najpomembnejši pristop razumevanje učencev s ČVM, najuspešnejša metoda za doseganje ciljev učne ure pa dobra motivacija za delo na začetku posamezne ure. Bistveno za pripravo na delo z učenci s ČVM je za učitelje dobro poznavanje posameznika, njegovih težav in primanjkljajev, saj tako lažje določijo njegova šibka in močna področja, ki predstavljajo osnovo za načrtovanje učnega dela. Zaradi izredno širokega spektra čustvenih in vedenjskih motenj, ki se izražajo iz ene skrajnosti v drugo, se pričakuje od učitelja sposobnost prilagajanja, ravnodušnost in doslednost. Specifična in specialna znanja so nujna, a glede na rezultate raziskave največ uporabnih znanj daje praksa.

In the master's thesis, we examined the role of a teacher in working with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders (hereinafter referred to as EBD) through a case study in Veržej primary school. The institution is considered unique in Slovenia as it consists of three separate units: a kindergarten, an educational institution for children and adolescents with EBD from all over Slovenia, and a primary school that educates children from the school district as well as those residing in the educational institution. The theoretical part describes emotional and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents, how they manifest in the school environment, and most importantly, how teachers deal with all of this during instructional time. The data for the case study in the empirical part were obtained through interviews with eight subject specialist teachers at Veržej primary school. We found that the most important approach for teachers at Veržej primary school is understanding students with EBD, and the most successful method for achieving lesson objectives is to have good motivation for work at the beginning of each class. It is essential for teachers to know difficulties and deficiencies of individual students with EBD, which helps them to identify students' weaknesses and strengths, which again serves as the basis for lessons planning. Due to the extremely broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral disorders, ranging from one extreme to the other, teachers are expected to have the ability to adapt, remain indifferent, and be consistent. Specific and specialized knowledge is necessary, however according to the research results, the most useful knowledge is acquired through practical experience. |
