Povzetek

V magistrskem delu z naslovom Izboljšanje bralnega razumevanja učencev z motnjami v duševnem razvoju z Vodnikom o Žički kartuziji v lahkem branju so v teoretičnem delu predstavljene značilnosti otrok z motnjo v duševnem razvoju, bralna pismenost in njeno razvijanje v prilagojenih programih vzgoje in izobraževanja (prilagojeni izobraževalni program z nižjim izobrazbenim standardom PP NIS in posebni program vzgoje in izobraževanja PPVI), izsledki mednarodnih raziskav o bralni pismenosti v Sloveniji in značilnosti lahkega branja. V empiričnem delu je vključen Vodnik o Žički kartuziji v lahkem branju, s katerim smo preverjali bralno razumevanje učencev, ki se izobražujejo v PP NIS in PPVI na OŠPP V parku v Slovenskih Konjicah, in rezultati bralnega razumevanja učencev. Raziskane so bile tudi izkušnje in poznavanje področja lahkega branja učiteljic, ki poučujejo na OŠPP V parku, s pomočjo intervjuja, ki je bil uporabljen v projektu PERLSI. Rezultate smo primerjani z izsledki slovenskega dela raziskave projekta. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da med učenci obeh programov ni statistično pomembnih razlik v bralnem razumevanju Vodnika o Žički kartuziji v lahkem branju, sta pa najboljša rezultata dosegla učenca posebnega programa, česar nismo predvidevali. Predpostavka, da imajo učiteljice OŠPP V parku manj znanja in izkušenj z lahkim branjem kot udeleženci raziskave PERLSI, je bila potrjena.

Sekundarni povzetek: In the theoretical part of the master's thesis titled Improvement of reading comprehension of pupils with intellectual disabilities with easy-to-read guide about Žiče charterhouse the following themes are presented: the characteristics of children with intellectual disabilities, reading literacy and its development in schools with adapted or special education programmes (customized educational programme with lower educational standards and special educational programme), results of international research programmes on reading literacy in Slovenia, and easy-to-read language. The empirical part includes the easy-to-read guide about Žiče charterhouse, which was used to assess and analyse reading comprehension of pupils in customized educational programme with lower educational standards and special educational programme in elementary school OŠPP V parku in Slovenske Konjice. The teachers that work at OŠPP V parku were also interviewed about their knowledge and experience with easy-to-read. The same interview was used as was in project PERLSI. The results between the teachers and the Slovene interviewees of project PERLSI were compared. It was established that there is no statistically significant difference in reading comprehension between students that are enrolled in specific educational programme. Moreover, the best results were obtained by two students of special educational programme, which was not hypothesized. However, the prediction that teachers of OŠPP V parku have less knowledge and experience regarding easy-to-read than Slovene interviewees od project PERLSI was confirmed.
