Povzetek
Povzetek: V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali vpliv umetne inteligence na sisteme za poslovno obveščanje. Z uporabo tridesetdnevnega brezplačnega dostopa do aplikacije MicroStrategy ONE smo raziskali, kako je umetna inteligenca vplivala na zmogljivost aplikacije in koliko je to v resnici doprinos za podjetje, ki jo uporablja.
V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili poslovno inteligenco oziroma sisteme za poslovno obveščanje ter kakšna je njihova vloga v podjetjih in trendi v zadnjih letih. Sledi poglavje umetne inteligence, kjer smo predstavili osnovne koncepte in metode, ki se na tem področju uporabljajo. Izpostavili smo tudi etični in pravni vidik. Vključili smo poglavje o konrolingu, saj so tako sistemi za obveščanje kot umetna inteligenca vedno bolj z njim povezani. V omenjenih poglavjih smo izpostavili prednosti in slabosti vpliva AI na ostala področja, ter povezanost BI sistemov s področjem kontrolinga. Vključili smo že izvedene raziskave na to temo.
V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo aplikacije MicroStrategy ONE naredili raziskavo na področju AI in BI. Predstavili smo aplikacijo, kaj je novega v aplikaciji, povezanega z umetno inteligenco, ter kaj je omogočeno v brezplačni poskusni različici aplikacije. Ugotovili smo, da je izbrana aplikacija uvedla večino možnosti uporabe umetne inteligence v prakso. Opazimo uporabo strojnega učenja, obdelavo naravnega jezika ter razširjeno analitiko. Aplikacija nima integriranega računalniškega vida, vendar je ta mogoč z integracijo zunanjih orodij. Druga hipoteza se je nanašala na hitrost priprave poročil. Ugotovili smo, da umetna inteligenca veliko hitreje pripravi poročila, kot uporabnik (preprosta in kompleksna). Problem nastane, ko umetna inteligenca ne pripravi takšnega poročila, kot smo si zamislili, in so potrebni popravki, ki zahtevajo dodaten čas. Kljub potrebnim popravkom porabimo manj časa, kot če bi sami oblikovali celotno poročilo. Za namen zadnje hipoteze smo primerjali izbiro podatkov, ki so vključeni v poročilo, ki ga pripravi umetna inteligenca, ter podatki, ki so vključeni v poročilo, ki ga pripravi strokovnjak na izbranem področju. Ugotovili smo, da poročila niso enaka, vendar so podobna v določenih elementih. Predvsem je razlika v prikazu podatkov in ustreznosti oblike podatkov. AI še ne more nadomestiti osebe, lahko pa nam zelo pripomore pri delu, če ga znamo pravilno izkoristiti.
Rezultati, ki smo jih pridobili skozi raziskavo, potrjujejo, da umetna inteligenca pripomore k boljši uporabi sistemov za obveščanje, vendar mora biti uporabnik kritičen do podatkov, ki jih umetna inteligenca pripravi. Vsekakor nam olajša prikaz hitrih poročil, predvsem kakšne medletne primerjave, vendar je za kompleksna poročila bolje, da jih pripravi uporabnik sam ali pa mu umetna inteligenca le do določene mere pomaga.

Summary: In the master's thesis, we investigated the impact of artificial intelligence on business information systems. Using a 30-day free trial of MicroStrategy ONE, we explored how AI has impacted the application's performance and how much it really contributes to the business using it.
In the theoretical part, we presented business intelligence or business intelligence systems and what their role is in companies and trends in recent years. This is followed by the chapter on artificial intelligence, where we presented the basic concepts and methods used in this field. We also highlighted the ethical and legal aspect. We have included a chapter about controlling, as both notification systems and artificial intelligence are increasingly connected to it. In the mentioned chapters, we highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of the influence of AI on other areas, as well as the connection of BI systems with the area of controlling. We included already conducted researches on this topic.
In the empirical part, we did research in the field of AI and BI with the help of the MicroStrategy ONE application. We presented the application and what is new in it, related to artificial intelligence and what is enabled in the free trial version of the application. We found that the selected application introduced most of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in practice. We see the use of machine learning, natural language processing and extended analytics. The application does not have integrated computer vision, but it is possible by integrating external tools. The second hypothesis is related to the speed of preparation of reports. We found that artificial intelligence prepares reports much faster than the user (simple and complex). The problem arises when the artificial intelligence does not prepare the kind of report that we imagined and corrections are needed, which require additional time. Despite the necessary corrections, we spent less time correcting AI than if we designed the entire report by ourselves. For the purpose of the last hypothesis, we compared the selection of data included in a report prepared by artificial intelligence and the data included in a report prepared by an expert in the chosen field. We found that the reports are not identical, but they are similar in certain elements. The main difference is in the display of data and adequacy of the data format. AI cannot yet replace a person, but it can help us a lot at work if we know how to use it properly.
The results obtained through the research confirm that artificial intelligence contributes to a better use of notification systems, but the user must be critical of the data that artificial intelligence prepares. It certainly makes it easier for us to display quick reports, especially year-on-year comparisons, but for complex reports, it is better for a user to prepare them themselves or AI only helps to a certain extent.
