Povzetek
Uvod: Možgansko-žilne bolezni, kot je možganska kap, predstavljajo veliko družbeno
breme v razvitih državah, vključno s Slovenijo, kjer vsako leto okoli 4.000 ljudi doživi
možgansko kap. Glavni dejavniki tveganja so povišan krvni tlak, holesterol in kajenje, pri
čemer je povišan krvni tlak najpogostejši vzrok. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je s
pregledom literature raziskati kaj je znanega o uporabi robotskih naprav v okviru
delovnoterapevtske obravnave oseb po možganski kapi. Metode dela: Izveden je bil
sistematični pregled literature po smernicah Joanna Briggs Institute. Študije so bile iskane
na podlagi zastavljenih vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev v podatkovnih bazah
CINAHL, OTSeeker in Web of Science. Ključne besede so bile v angleškem jeziku
“stroke” or “TIA” or “cerebrovascular accidents” or “CVA” and “occup* therap*” or “OT”
and “robot” or “robotic-assisted”. Rezultati: V končno analizo je bilo vključenih 6 člankov
iz katerih smo oblikovali pet tem. Ugotovili smo, da prilagoditev terapije, vključno z
uporabo robotskih naprav, pomembno izboljša rehabilitacijo po možganski kapi. Robotska
tehnologija omogoča natančne povratne informacije in ponavljajočo se prakso, kar
spodbuja motorično učenje. Razprava in zaključek: Robotske naprave učinkovito
dopolnjujejo tradicionalne metode rehabilitacije. Prilagajanje terapij specifičnim potrebam
oseb po možganski kapi je pomembno za doseganje izboljšanja, a so visoki stroški in
tehnični izzivi še vedno ovira širše uporabe. V prihodnosti bo razvoj robotike omogočil
bolj personalizirane in učinkovite rehabilitacijske pristope.

Introduction: Cerebrovascular diseases, such as stroke, represent a significant societal
burden in developed countries, including Slovenia, where approximately 4,000 people
experience a stroke each year. The main risk factors are high blood pressure, cholesterol,
and smoking, with high blood pressure being the most common cause. Purpose: The
purpose of this thesis is to review the existing knowledge on the use of robotic devices in
occupational therapy for stroke patients. Methods: A systematic review of the literature
was conducted according to the guidelines of the Joanna Briggs Institute. Studies were
searched on the basis of set inclusion and exclusion criteria in the databases of CINAHL,
OTSeeker and Web of Science. Keywords in English were "stroke" or "TIA" or
"cerebrovascular accidents' or "CVA" and "occup* therapy" or "OT" and "robot" or
"robotic-assisted”. Results: Six articles were included in the final analysis, from which we
developed five themes. We found that tailoring therapy, including the use of robotic
devices, significantly improves rehabilitation after stroke. Robotic technology enables
accurate feedback and repetitive practice, which promotes motor learning. Discussion and
Conclusion: Robotic devices effectively complement traditional rehabilitation methods.
Tailoring therapies to the specific needs of people after a stroke is important for success,
but high costs and technical challenges still hinder their wider use. In the future, the
development of robotics will enable more personalized and effective rehabilitation
approaches. |
