The book Mehurčki by Župančič was issued in 2009 in the collection of books for required reading Knjiga pred nosom. The poems are enriched with didactic material, which consists of starting questions and extra activities to ponder about and use for creative purposes after reading. The collection is primarily intended for required reading; however it is also helpful for the parents who read the poems together with their children. Furthermore, it is useful for the teachers in literature classes.
The main purpose of my diploma thesis was to establish the responses of children, parents and teachers on the book Mehurčki from the collection for required reading Knjiga pred nosom. I also wanted to establish its usefulness in literature classes in the first triad.
I collected the findings through questionnaires for parents and teachers, directly from teaching in class and from drawings and writings of pupils.
In the first chapter of my diploma thesis I explained the meaning of juvenile literature and poetry.
The second chapter is dedicated to the discussion of juvenile poetry in educational process. I described the principles of literary communication in poetry and poetic interests of children. I listed and described the phases of school interpretation of poetry, especially the first phase – initial motivation, which I presented in great detail. I also added required reading and the method of family reading to this chapter for it is important that the children also read at home with their parents.
In the last chapter of the theoretical part I outlined the life and work of Oton Župančič. I presented the collection of poems Mehurčki and its various publications throughout the years. Mehurčki were also significantly marked by the illustrator Marlenka Stupica, whom I dedicated a few words in the last part of the chapter.
The empirical part of the thesis consists of two analyses of the classes, which I held at elementary school OŠ Mirana Jarca in Črnomelj. I examined the responses of the teachers and the parents of second grade pupils on the book Mehurčki from the collection Knjiga pred nosom. The third grade pupils had had Mehurčki for required reading, so they chose their favourite poems and answered the questions in the book.
In the conclusion I summed up the findings and added my opinion on the book. |

Župančičevi Mehurčki so leta 2009 izšli v zbirki za domače branje Knjiga pred nosom. Pesmim je dodano didaktično gradivo, tj. izhodiščna vprašanja in dodatne dejavnosti za razmišljanje in ustvarjanje po branju. Zbirka je namenjena predvsem domačemu branju učencev, v pomoč pa je tudi staršem, ki skupaj z otroki prebirajo pesmi. Poleg tega je uporabna za učitelje pri pouku književnosti.
Glavni cilj moje diplomske naloge je bil ugotoviti odzive otrok, staršev in učiteljev na knjigo Mehurčki iz zbirke za domače branje Knjiga pred nosom. Ugotoviti sem želela tudi njeno uporabnost pri pouku književnosti v prvem triletju.
Ugotovitve sem pridobila s pomočjo vprašalnikov za starše in učitelje, neposredno pri poučevanju v razredu in s pisnimi izdelki otrok.
V prvem poglavju diplomske naloge sem pojasnila pojma mladinska književnost in poezija.
V drugem poglavju sem se posvetila predvsem obravnavi mladinske poezije v vzgojno izobraževalnem procesu. Opisala sem načela literarne komunikacije pri poeziji in poetske interese otrok. Naštela in opisala sem faze šolske interpretacije poezije, najbolj podrobno prvo fazo, uvodno motivacijo. Temu poglavju sem dodala še domače branje in metodo družinskega branja, saj je pomembno, da otroci berejo tudi doma s starši.
V zadnjem poglavju teoretičnega dela sem orisala življenje in delo Otona Župančiča. Predstavila sem zbirko Mehurčki in njene različne izdaje skozi leta. Svoj pečat je Mehurčkom dala tudi ilustratorka Marlenka Stupica, ki sem ji posvetila nekaj besed v zaključnem delu poglavja.
Empirični del naloge je sestavljen iz dveh analiz učnih ur, ki sem jih izvedla na OŠ Mirana Jarca v Črnomlju. Opisala sem odzive staršev drugošolcev in učiteljic na knjigo Mehurčki iz zbirke Knjiga pred nosom. Tretješolci so za domače branje sami prebrali Mehurčke, izbrali najljubše pesmi in odgovorili na vprašanja v knjigi.
V zaključku sem strnila ugotovitve in dodala svoje mnenje o knjigi. |
