Sekundarni povzetek: Together with the nine-year elementary school introduction, also the activity days have been implemented. Activity days stimulate to use even better up-to-date learning methods, such as interdisciplinary collaboration, project based learning and innovation in teaching. The activities on elementary and secondary school engineering education level in Slovenia are similar to methods used at school visit days in Germany and in United Kingdom. The possibilities of involvement of technology students of the Faculty of education, University of Ljubljana (PeF) are elaborated for executing School visit days in primary and in secondary schools. Students are already engaged in pedagogical practice, constituting a mandatory integral part of studying. Practice can be executed in either elementary and/or secondary schools at engineering education subject, primary chosen Design and technology primary school obligatory subject and not in the school visit days. By using polling questionnaires, it has been established that the cooperation of PeF technology students at the school visit days is desirable by pupils as well as by in practice technology teachers. In such a manner elementary schools facilitate and improve the work of pupils and teachers, providing at the same time better practice for students. The fact is that all the activity days in elementary school are determined by the school year plan. The plan includes all dates and selected contents prior to lessons start. For this reason the cooperation of all participants involved in the educational process at school is appropriate. As an example, two propositions are given for performing technology school visit day in which also students take active part. The analysis of present conditions in providing pedagogical practice, has made it clear that it is necessary to agree on the best system solution. It would improve the situation of all involved in school visit days or in providing statutory compulsory forms of practical professional training for Pedagogic Faculty students.
