Sekundarni povzetek:	In my graduation thesis I described the history of the set theory. The beginners of this theory are different mathematicians, along with Georg Cantor, whom we described. The goal for this graduation thesis was to explore the introduction of set theory in school, here as well as abroad, because with this theory we witnessed the arrival of the so called »new math«. All the plans for study from the beginning are given, mainly for primary school, but also some for high school and college. A part that is linked with this theory is also logic, that is why we talk of it as well.

Povzetek (ePrints):	V diplomskem delu je opisana kratka zgodovina teorije množic. Predstavljen je Georg Cantor, začetnik teorije, ter ostali matematiki, ki so kakorkoli povezani s to temo. Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati uvajanje teorije množic v šolstvo pri nas in v tujini, saj se je z uvajanjem teorije množic v šolah pojavila t. i. »nova matematika«. Podani so učni načrti od začetka uvajanja teorije množic v šolo pa vse do danes. Obravnavana je tudi teorija množic, ki je primerna za osnovno šolo, nekaj snovi je tudi za srednje šole in fakultete. Dotakne pa se tudi logike, ki je bistveno povezana s teorijo množic.
