Sekundarni povzetek: The purpose of this thesis was to analize the frequency of organizing crosscountry running for children in different regions of Slovenia. We were also interested in how well informed are kindergarten employees (pedagogical workers) about motoric developement of a child, especially about developement of preschool children performance. Analysis data was collected with help of survey questionnaire. With collected data we were able to see how often do kindergartens in Slovenia prepare crosscountry running for children, while also checking the theoretical knowledge of pedagogical workers in kindergartens in the field of motoric developement of preschool children. The questionnaire was given to kindergarten principals, pedagogical workers and kindergarten teachers. Survey consisted of two parts. The first part focused on the questions about motoric developement of preschool child and were intended for all respondents, while the second part concerned with the questions about practical organization of crosscountry running and preparation of children for endurance tests. Only the pedagogical workers, who had already organized crosscountry runnings and prepared children for them as endurance trial, answerd the second part of questionnaire. There were 104 pedagogical workers participating in the survey from goriška, notranjska, štajerska and Ljubljana region with surroundings. Collected data was processed using SPSS (Statistical Package for the social Sciences). For calculating frequencies of particular questions we used application FREQUENCIES, for calculating descriptive statistics we used application DESCRIPTIVES. We used CROSSTABS for finding connections between ordinal and nominal questions. For numeric variables and for other suitably transformed variables we used CORRELATION (Pearsons corelation coefficient and finding connections between variables). We checked statistical feature on the level of five percent risk (p 0,05). Based on the cross-referencing the question of how often the crosscountry runnings are being held, with the fact in which region kindergarten is in, we discoverd, that the frequency of organizing crosscountry runnings for preschool children differ from region to region. None of the surveyed kindergartens in goriška and notranjska region is organizing any crosscountry runnings. In surveyed kindergartens in štajerska the results showed, that more the half of them organize crosscounrty runnings, while in Ljubljana every surveyed kindergarten organizes them. It is worth mentioning the fact, that with the help of this research we were able to confirm the hypothesis of how crittically low the level of pedagogical workers theoretical knowledge in the field of motoric developement of preschool children is. Of 65 interviewees, who claim to know what the concept of anaerobic treshold is, only 36,9% that is 24 interviewees described it completely correct. 63,1% this is 41 interviewees, described it partially correct. We tested theoretical knowledge also with introduction of new composite variable, where we took into account all the variables with the help of which we were testing the theoretical knowledge. Also this thoroughly made analyses showed how low the level of pedagogical workers theoretical knowledge about child performance is. We could not confirm hypothesis 3 altogether. Results of the research showed, that it is not necessary for those who know the theory to organize endurance and motoric activities for preschool children more often as those who are less familiar with it. Although there is a slight tendency towards the fact, that those who have better theoretical knowledge more often and appropriately include children in endurance and motoric activities as those who have weaker theoretical knowledge.

Povzetek (ePrints): Namen diplomske naloge je bil analizirati, kako pogosto se v različnih regijah po Sloveniji izvaja kros za otroke, poleg tega pa nas je zanimalo tudi, kako dobro strokovni delavci vrtca poznajo gibalni razvoj otroka, predvsem v okviru razvoja vzdržljivosti predšolskega otroka. Podatke smo zbirali s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki smo ga izdelali izključno za omenjeno raziskavo. Z anketnim vprašalnikom smo tako pridobili podatke, s pomočjo katerih smo ugotovili, kako pogosto izvajajo krose za otroke v različnih regijah po Sloveniji, hkrati pa smo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika ugotovili tudi, kakšno je teoretično znanje strokovnih delavcev vrtca na področju gibalnega razvoja predšolskega otroka. Anketni vprašalnik je bil namenjen ravnateljicam vrtca, pedagoškim vodjem in vzgojiteljicam vrtca. Sestavljen je bil sestavljen iz dveh delov. V prvem so bila vprašanja vezana na poznavanje gibalnega razvoja predšolskega otroka in namenjena vsem anketirancem. Drugi del anketnega vprašalnika pa je vseboval vprašanja, ki so bila vezana na praktično izvedbo krosa za predšolske otroke in na način priprave otrok na vzdržljivostno preizkušnjo, kot je tek. Drugi del anketnega vprašalnika so reševale le strokovne delavke vrtcev, ki so v svojem delovnem obdobju že izvajale oziroma pripravljale otroke na tek kot vzdržljivostno preizkušnjo. V raziskavo smo zajeli 104 strokovne delavce vrtcev, in sicer iz goriške, notranjske, štajerske in ljubljanske regije z okolico. Podatke smo obdelali s statističnim paketom SPSS (statistical Package for the social Sciences). Za izračun frekvence posameznih odgovorov smo uporabili podprogram FREQUENCIES, za izračun opisne statistike pa podprogram DESCRIPTIVES. Za ugotavljanje povezanosti ordinalnih in nominalnih odgovorov smo uporabili podprogram CROSSTABS. Na številčnih spremenljivkah in tudi na ostalih ustrezno transformiranih spremenljivkah smo uporabili CORRELATION (Pearsonov koeficient korelacije in ugotavljali povezave med spremenljivkami). Statistično značilnost smo preverjali na ravni 5-odstotnega tveganja (p 0,05). Ugotovili smo, da se pogostost izvajanja krosov za predšolske otroke od regije do regije razlikuje. To smo ugotovili s pomočjo križanja vprašanj o pogostosti organizacije krosa in regije, v kateri se vrtec nahaja. V raziskovanih vrtcih na Goriškem in Notranjskem krosov za predšolske otroke sploh ne izvajajo. Pri raziskovanih vrtcih na Štajerskem so rezultati pokazali, da nekaj več kot polovica (50 %) anketirancev pravi, da krose v okviru vrtca organizirajo, medtem ko v raziskovanih ljubljanskih vrtcih vsi organizirajo kros za otroke. Izpostaviti velja tudi dejstvo, da smo s pomočjo raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli, potrdili hipotezo, da je nivo teoretičnega znanja strokovnih delavcev na področju gibalnega razvoja predšolskih otrok nizek. Izmed 65 anketirancev, ki menijo, da pojem aerobni prag poznajo, je le 36,9 %, tj. 24 anketirancev, pojem aerobni prag opisalo popolnoma pravilno. Kar 63,1 %, tj. 41 anketirancev, pa je pojem aerobni prag opisalo delno pravilno. Teoretično znanje smo ugotavljali tudi s pomočjo uvedbe kompozitne spremenljivke, kjer smo upoštevali vse tiste spremenljivke, s pomočjo katerih smo ugotavljali teoretično znanje. Tudi natančnejša analiza je pokazala nizko teoretično znanje pedagoških delavcev v vrtcu o vzdržljivosti. Hipoteze 3 nismo mogli v celoti potrditi. Rezultati raziskave so namreč pokazali, da ni nujno, da tisti, ki bolje obvladajo teorijo, večkrat na teden izvajajo oz. organizirajo vzdržljivostne gibalne dejavnosti za predšolske otroke. Kljub temu pa se kaže manjša tendenca k temu, da tisti, ki imajo boljše teoretično znanje, otroke pogosteje in ustrezneje vključujejo v vzdržljivostne gibalne dejavnosti, kot tisti, ki imajo slabše teoretično znanje.
