Sekundarni povzetek: This diploma paper, from the thematic cartography field, is showing the steps of making a tourist map using the Autodesk Map 3D (AutoCAD 2005) computer graphic program. This paper deals with all stages of map-making, from design-making, definition of map-content and cartographic symbols construction, to the actual printing of the map. An approximate outline of map-production is being introduced by the outline scheme, with which the map’s area, purpose, type and size and the approximate definition of its scale are being presented. A map model has been created on the outline scheme basis, after which a discussion with the investor could be carried out. Afterwards an editorial plan of the map has been made on the basis of arranged guidelines and parameters, which contains data concerning the map’s mathematical base, cartographic projection, size, content and of its cartographic sources. Cartographic sources are basic information for map-production. An editorial plan also contains data concerning individual content display methods and a manual for the realization of cartographic generalization. Afterwards a map is actually made, according to the editorial plan’s guidelines. The specialty of this paper is the basic cartographic source, for which a digital cadastral plan (DKN) was chosen, that has never been used for such purposes until now. Another interesting aspect of this paper is the presentation of connectivity between the AutoCAD 2005 and the GEOS6 program, with which the base of the tourist map has been made. Explanation of both used programs' advantages and the applicability of the Regional geodesic administration of Maribor's vector data make another interesting topic of the thesis.
