The subject of the thesis titled "Interdisciplinary integration of social studies in the fourth grade of primary school" are interrelated concepts: cross-curricular connections, interdisciplinary teaching and other related expressions that appear in connection with the integration of social studies and other subjects in the 4th grade of primary school.
In the theoretical part, in addition to definitions of the terms, different approaches and models for planning interdisciplinary lessons, its advantages and disadvantages and strategies for planning, execution and evaluation are described. Furthermore, there is an analysis of curricula for social studies and its comparison with curricula of other subjects and specific possibilities for integration.
In addition to the theoretical part, the thesis presents the results of the research that should reflect the reality of the execution of learning approaches in practice. The study answers to questions about the frequency of planning cross-curricular lessons in social studies in the fourth grade of primary school; which model and form is mostly used in planning and carrying out the lessons; which other subjects are most often connected with social studies, and what are the teachers’ observations of the results and responses of students that have been a part of such way a of teaching. |

Predmet diplomskega dela z naslovom »Medpredmetno povezovanje družbe v četrtem razredu osnovne šole« so medsebojno povezani pojmi medpredmetno povezovanje, interdisciplinarni pouk in ostali sorodni izrazi, ki se pojavljajo v povezavi z integracijo predmetov, pri predmetu družba v 4. razredu.
V teoretičnem delu so, poleg opredelitve pojmov, opisani različni pristopi in modeli za načrtovanje interdisciplinarnega pouka; njegove prednosti in pomanjkljivosti ter strategije načrtovanja, izvajanja in ocenjevanja. Bolj podrobno pa je s konkretno analizo in primerjavo učnih načrtov predstavljeno medpredmetno povezovanje družbe z ostalimi predmeti.
Poleg teoretičnih osnov so nadaljevanju diplomskega dela predstavljeni rezultati raziskave, ki naj bi odražali realno stanje izvajanja učnih pristopov, opisanih v teoretičnem delu, v praksi. Raziskava odgovarja na vprašanja o pogostosti medpredmetno načrtovanega pouka pri družbi v četrtem razredu osnovne šole; na kakšni ravni in v kakšni obliki je pouk načrtovan in izvajan; s katerimi drugimi predmeti učitelji četrtih razredov največkrat povezujejo družbo ter kakšna so opažanja učiteljev glede rezultatov in odzivov učencev, deležnih takšnega načina poučevanja. |
