Sekundarni naslov: Teaching of slovenian folk dances in second triennium
Sekundarni povzetek: In my thesis, I assessed the teaching of Slovenian folk dances in the second triad of elementary school. I identified the frequency of teaching of Slovenian folk dances, the dances which are taught, causes and modes of co-operation with outsourced partners and the local environment, the existing problems with the teaching of the dances as well as the teachers' knowledge and views on teaching of Slovenian folk dances. In the theoretical part, I introduced the concept of a folk dance, the dance forms and types of Slovenian folk dances, their musical accompaniment, and their role. I presented the Slovenian folk dances taught in the second triad as a part of the compulsory curriculum, in an extracurricular club and a folklore band. In the empirical part, I used a sample of 24 elementary school teachers to determine their knowledge of teaching the dances, the frequency of integration of the dances in the course and their attitude towards teaching of the dances. The survey results showed the teachers' knowledge in this field is poor. The teachers frequently have problems in teaching and therefore lack an interest in teaching. They believe their efforts to preserve the dances are inadequate, but all agree that it is important to teach the dances to preserve the folk heritage.

V empiričnem delu sem na vzorcu 24-ih učiteljev in učiteljic razrednega pouka ugotavljala njihovo znanje o poučevanju plesov, pogostost vključevanja plesov v pouk in odnos do poučevanja le-teh.
