Sekundarni povzetek:	In my diploma Color And Space Through The Eyes Of The Youngest I focused on the creative field of spatial design in art education in 3rd grade of primary school. Through artistic tasks that were based on works of an artist and architect Friedenreicha Hundertwasser, I wanted to show that colour is an important element which in relation to spatial design creates interesting and original art works. I presented symbolism of colours and focused on colour as a medium that affects the child's mood. Purpose of this study is also to investigate pupils' creativity using offered art materials and determine whether Hundertwasser's paintings help in understandng the importance of the use of colour in spatial design. Pupils have gained a new experience in connecting space with colour and by in-depth work got to know how successfully or not can colours be in changing, softening, dissolving the entire space. Their feelings and ingenuity in the use of materials and colours led them to positive self-image and the emergence of interesting art pieces, which are results of the whole project.

Povzetek (ePrints):	V diplomskem delu, Prostor in barva v očeh najmlajših, sem se osredotočila na likovno področje prostorskega oblikovanja, pri likovni vzgoji v 3. razredu OŠ. Preko likovnih nalog, ki so temeljile na delu slikarja in arhitekta Friedensreicha Hundertwasserja, sem želela dokazati, da je barva pomemben element, ki v povezavi s prostorskim oblikovanjem ustvarja zanimive in izvirne likovne izdelke. Predstavila sem simboliko barv ter se osredotočila na barvo kot medij, ki vpliva na otrokovo počutje. Namen diplomskega dela je tudi raziskati učenčevo ustvarjalnost ob uporabi ponujenega likovnega materiala in ugotoviti, ali slike Hundertwasserja pomagajo pri razumevanju pomena uporabe barve pri prostorskemu oblikovanju. Učenci so pridobili novo izkušnjo povezave prostora z barvo in ob poglobljenem delu spoznavali, kako uspešno ali neuspešno lahko sama barva spremeni, omehča ali razkroji celoten prostor. Njihovo občutenje in iznajdljivost pri uporabi materialov in barv sta jih vodila k pozitivni samopodobi in nastajanju zanimivih likovnih izdelkov, ki so rezultat celotnega projekta.
