Sekundarni naslov: Technological literacy in the first triad of elementary school
Sekundarni povzetek: The main subject of the diploma thesis is the importance of technological literacy as a product of technology and engineering education. The thesis offers an insight into technological literacy standards for 6–8 year olds, in comparison to Slovene curriculum for the first triad of elementary school. The central aim of the thesis was to measure technological literacy of pupils at the end of the first triad of elementary school. The recently developed measuring method (S. Avsec, 2010) was used in order to get the most accurate results. The method itself had been upgraded and adjusted to the first triad of elementary school. The measured technological literacy of 8 year olds is 32,2 %. There are no statistical significant differences according to gender. To ensure reliability, the test- retest method and correlation coefficient method within the units of a sample group r (ICC – »intraclass correlation coefficient«), were used in addition to the Cronbach's alpha coefficient.
