Sekundarni naslov: Stress and relaxation techniques in the first triade of elementary school
Sekundarni povzetek: In my thesis I am writing about stress and relaxation techniques in the first triade of elementary school (ES). In the theoretical part of thesis I first write about psycho-social, physical, motoric and cognitive characteristics of children in the first triade of ES. This is followed by the chapter on stress. Based on literature by Slovenian and foreign authors I presented what stress is, what is its biological meaning, and foremost I analyzed the stress with children. I researched the causes, signs and consequences of stress with children and how it can be controlled. The third chapter is about relaxation. I presented the importance of relaxation for children and techniques appropriate for children. The purpose of my thesis is to note the presence of stress, its signs and consequences with children of first triade of ES, research if those children need relaxation, demonstrate relaxation techniques suitable for children in this age range and test the positive effects of relaxation techniques on students and atmosphere in classroom. I chose action research which enabled enough flexibility for a successful research. Three action steps brought positive results. I came to a conclusion that stress is present with students and that they need relaxation which has positive effects on individuals as well as the entire group. I also presented some of the techniques, suitable for children in the first triade of ES. Students mostly faced them through games which were based on different techniques. The biggest progress was in the area of aggression and noise, both of which were decreased significantly.

Povzetek (ePrints): V diplomskem delu pišem o stresu in sprostitvenih tehnikah v prvem triletju osnovne šole. Učenci so jih spoznavali večinoma preko iger, v katere so bile vpletene prvine posameznih tehnik.
