Sekundarni povzetek: In my work I write about slovenian children's female authors. In theoretical part of the diploma I define the term youth literature and describe different eras of slovenian youth literature. I describe the path from entrance of slovenian women into literature to present time and introduce some key slovenian female children's authors. In empirical part I used a quantitative investigative approach to try to find out the ratio between slovenian male and female authors. Apart from that I also made a comparison between slovenian children's male and female authors. I found out that in the first three eras of slovenian youth literature there are more male authors but in the fourth era there are more female authors. The same is with children's male and female authors. With intention to find out the ratio between sugested male and female authors in kindergarden, primary school and secondary school I examined a guide to curriculum for kindergarten and syllabus for Slovenian language in primary and secondary school. I found out that despite of the fact that there are more female authors in contemporary era of youth literature there are much more male authors’ sugested works in these three documents.
