Sekundarni povzetek: The theoretical part of this degree gives a definition of the language characteristics in the field of music and art. They are defined separately at first, although there is a clear inclination towards their affinity. Both languages are mainly understood through our senses and both have in common an artistic note. The musical language as well as the language of arts does tend to favor aesthetics and reaching the human’s soul. The musical language has a richer history and a more comprehensive theoretical background than the language of arts although it can be said that theory is not the most important part of either. This emphasis is shown in my work where the point is made, that both are created for a human experience. Both languages were created by man according his own beliefs and they express his inner world. Through them we can learn the art of awareness, critical assessment, and creativity but most importantly, we can train our imagination. The languages, which are discussed in the degree, have been linked together in a common chapter, which gives emphasis to their most useful connections. The theoretical part gives emphasis on the importance of practical language use in pedagogical practice. It is important to teach and learn the musical and artistic language therefore a certain part of theory has to be learnt in primary and secondary school if we desire to give a more detail experience when listening to music and observing the wonderful world of arts. This part also points out some similarities between certain abstract paintings and contemporary as well as graphical music inscriptions. The practical part of the degree shows a type of artistic notation, where I translate the language of music into the language of arts and vice versa. When working on the pedagogical part I had to ensure that it was emphasized that the connection between musical and fine art education is essential for the understanding of both languages, because they are related on many levels and sometimes one of them can be explained with phrases and characteristics of the other. Through my work I have shown a way, how to explain the conception of abstraction through music.
