Sekundarni povzetek: | The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I present the problem of literacy in Slovenia and Europe, initial literacy and basic concepts that accompany the child's literacy development. In the empirical part I present the results of project work, which is based on activities that promote reading interest and observing and evaluating the observed actions. I recorded the observed actions in the form of personal notes and with the use of checklists. Fourteen children participated in the project. The results obtained and the conclusions therefore relate only to the studied group. The research in this thesis has confirmed the important role of the child's environment (people, supportive environment, activities) in development of their reading interests. |
