Povzetek

Teoretična izhodišča: V nalogi smo najprej opisali razvoj in pomen managementa, nato pa smo se opredelili na management neprofitnih organizacij. Pri tem smo izpostavili dve vrsti neprofitnih organizacij, in sicer center za socialno delo in varstveno delovni center. Omenjeni organizaciji smo tudi podrobneje opisali. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo se prav tako osredotočili še na naloge managerjev, ekonomske vidike, odnose z javnostmi, pomen komuniciranja in pogajanja v neprofitnih organizacijah. Namen in cilj naloge: Osnovni namen magistrske naloge je raziskati razsežnosti dela managementa v centrih za socialno delo in varstveno delovnih centrih s poudarkom na znanju managementa, komuniciranja s financerji, strokovno javnostjo in učinkovitosti vodenja teh organizacij. Managerji največ časa porabijo za komuniciranje s financerji in pridobivanjem ustreznih sredstev, zato pa posledično pozabljajo na izpopolnjevanja in pridobivanja ustreznega znanja na področju managementa in komuniciranja s strokovno javnostjo, kar ima za posledico zmanjšano učinkovitost organizacije. Raziskovalna metodologija: V magistrski nalogi smo najprej uporabili deskriptivno in analitično metodo raziskovanja. Najprej smo poiskali strokovno literaturo in iz nje povzeli teoretična izhodišča za izvedbo analitične metodologije. Le-ta nam je bila podlaga za nadaljnje raziskovalno delo oz. tako smo lahko dobili odgovore na zastavljena raziskovalna vprašanja. Dobljene podatke smo analizirali in jih grafično prikazali s pomočjo računalniških programov Worda, Exela in Sps-ja. Rezultati: Na podlagi raziskave smo prišli do zaključka, da lahko eno raziskovalno vprašanje delno potrdimo, drugega pa v celoti, vendar smo spoznali, da vodilnim managerjem zmanjkuje časa pri opravljanju vsakodnevnih nalog pri vodenju organizacije. Sklep: Na koncu magistrskega dela smo prišli do zaključka, da se zaradi pomanjkanja sredstev, ki so posledica gospodarske krize, nepoznavanja organizacij s strani države in prepogosto pomanjkanje časa vodilnih managerjev, pozablja na kakovost dela, ki bi pa morala biti na prvem mestu.

Sekundarni povzetek: Theoretical grounds: In this master thesis, development and meaning of management was described, followed by the closer view on non-profit organisations` management. Special focus was put on two sorts of non-profit organisations: centre for social work and care and work centre. Both organisations were described thoroughly. Theoretical part of this thesis also focuses on the assignments of managers, economic views, public relations, and the meaning of communication and negotiation in non-profit organisations. Master thesis purpose and aim: Essential purpose of this master thesis is to explore the extent of management work in the centres for social work and the care and work centres. Stress is laid upon the knowledge of management, communication with financiers, professional public, and the efficiency of managing those organisations. Most of the manager`s time is spent on communication with financiers and acquisition of adequate assets. Consequently, gaining of and improving the required knowledge in the field of management and professional public communication is often forgotten about which results in reduced organisation`s efficiency. Research methodology: In this master thesis, descriptive and analytical research methods were used at the beginning. Theoretical grounds had been assembled from the professional literature so that analytical methodology could later be carried out. By doing so, the base for the upcoming research activity was produced and obtaining the answers to research questions was enabled. The data were later analysed and graphically displayed with the use of Word, Excel and SPS computer programmes. Results: The research results led us to a conclusion that one research question can be partially and the other completely confirmed. It has been however noticed that along everyday tasks, leading managers are short on time for leading the organisation. Conclusion: This master thesis led us to conclude that the lack of assets as a result of economic crisis, country`s insufficient knowledge of organisations, and leading managers being often pressed for time, compromises work quality which should come first.
