Povzetek

V magistrski nalogi smo proučevali organizacijo Prostovoljnega gasilskega društva Dravograd, za katero smo ugotavljali ali je dosedanja organizacija učinkovita ali ne. Pri tem smo ugotovili, da bi bile potrebne določene spremembe, zato smo poiskali vzroke za te spremembe, podali predloge za izboljšavo ter načine njenih uresničitev. Teoretičen del obsega predvsem teorijo na temo organizacije ter organizacijske strukture, v katerem smo opredelili njene značilnosti, cilje, zakonitosti, metode ter dejavnike organiziranosti. Temu je sledilo poglavje, ki se navezuje na opredelitev gasilske organizacije ter podrobnejša opredelitev njene zgodovine, pojmov, poslanstva in vodenja. Podrobneje smo se dotaknili področja prostovoljnih gasilskih društev, katera je tudi naša glavna tema. Osrednji del magistrske naloge pa predstavlja raziskava Prostovoljnega gasilskega društva Dravograd, povzetek njegove zgodovine, predstavitev članstva, funkcionarjev, specializacije članov ter organizacijski model obravnavanega društva. Slednji je zajel glavne značilnosti, ki so za nadaljevanje naloge ključnega pomena, saj smo na podlagi le-teh poiskali vzroke za spremembe organiziranosti PGD Dravograd, podali predloge izboljšav ter načine, kako te predloge uvesti v praksi. Na podlagi rezultatov izvedenih anket ter s pomočjo finančnih poročil smo potrjevali oz. zavračali dane hipoteze. Pri tem smo prišli do zaključka, da je uspešnost PGD Dravograd odvisna od dobre organizacije in koordinacije dela, za katero sta odgovorna predsednik in poveljnik društva, prav tako smo potrdili hipotezo, da je organizacija odvisna od dobrih medsebojnih odnosov in zadovoljstva članov društva ter da je organizacija PGD Dravograd odvisna od opremljenosti operativne gasilske enote. Zavrgli smo hipotezo, ki pravi, da je kakovostna izvedba intervencij odvisna od razpoložljivih finančnih sredstev, saj zanjo nismo našli ustrezne povezave.

Sekundarni povzetek: In the thesis we studied the organizaciton of Voluntary fire brigade of Dravograd, which was used to determine whether previous organization is effective or not. We found out that some changes should be required, so we look for the causes of these changes, make suggestion for improvement and ways of its realization. The theoretical part of master’s thesis consists mainly of theory based on the organization and the organizational structure, in which we identify its characteristics, objectives, rules, methods and organizational factors. This was followed by a chapter that relates to the definition of firefighter organizations and detailed definition of its history, concepts, mission and leadership. We focused more specifically on voluntary fire brigades, which is also our main topic. The central part of the master’s thesis presents research of Voluntary fire brigade of Dravograd, a summary of its history, the presentation of membership, officers, members and the specialization of the organizational model of the association. The latter has captured the main features that are crucial for our thesis. Based on these features we were looking for causes of changes the organization of Voluntary fire brigade of Dravograd. We also made suggestions for improvement and seek ways to introduce these proposals in practice. Based on the results of the surveys and through financial reports we confirmed or rejected our hypothesis. We came to the conclusion that the success of Voluntary fire brigade of Dravograd depends on good organization and coordination of work, for which are responsible the president and the commander of the association. We also confirmed the hypothis that the organization depends on good interpersonal relations and satisfaction of members of the association. Another confirmed hypothesis is that the organization of Voluntary fire brigade of Dravograd depends on the equipment. We rejected the hypothesis that says that the quality of interventions depends on the availability of funding, because we did not find the relevant links for it.
