Povzetek
V diplomski nalogi je najprej predstavljeno teoretično ozadje ustvarjalnosti, inovacije, razvoja novega izdelka in prednjega dela procesa razvoja novega izdelka s poudarkom na managementu idej. Opisani pa so tudi različni modeli upravljanja tega razvojnega procesa. Na ta način podrobno spoznamo le teorijo upravljanja z izdelkom v začetku njegovega razvoja. Da pa bi bolje razumeli kaj vse je potrebno za uspešno vodenje tega procesa smo morali teorijo prenesti tudi na praktični primer. Osredotočili smo se na management idej.
Proces smo razdelili v tri smiselno ločene faze. V prvi fazi smo se ukvarjali predvsem z okoljem in opazovanjem ter proučevanjem le tega. Na ta način smo prepoznali potrebo in morebitno poslovno priložnost, katero je bilo pred nadaljevanjem potrebno potrditi. V drugi fazi smo iskali ideje, jih ocenjevali in izbirali najboljše. Z metodami in tehnikami managementa idej smo prišli do ideje, za katero se je po rezultatih sodeč izkazalo, da ima največji potencial. Ta ideja je bila v zadnji fazi procesa podrobneje predstavljena, razvita in izboljšana, definiran je bil tudi dejanski proizvod. Sledil je še finančni plan proizvoda s pripadajočimi predkalkulacijami. Povsem na koncu pa je sledila končna odločitev.

In the present thesis we have at first provided theoretical background for fields of creativity, innovation, new product development and its fuzzy front end with emphasis on idea management. We have also described some models for managing this development process. But by doing this we only get to know the theoretical part of managing a product in its early development stages. For better understanding of what is necessary to successfully manage this process, we had to apply theory to a practical example. We focused on idea management.
The process was divided into three stages. In stage number one we focused on environment observation and environment study. By doing this we found a need and potential business opportunity, which, before proceeding had to be confirmed. In the second stage we searched for ideas. Ideas were generated, evaluated and screened. By using idea management methods and techniques we chose and idea which according to results showed the most promise and potential. This idea was thoroughly presented, developed and improved in the last stage. An actual product was defined at this point. A financial plan with some pre-calculations followed. At the very end a final decision was made. |
