Sekundarni povzetek: | This thesis presents the results of numerical simulation and the comparison for three different operating regimes of cavitation. Input data for simulation of cavitation had already existed and were derived from a previously performed experiment on cavitation station. The comparison is based on a visual comparison of cavitation clouds, pressure fields and pressure fluctuations behind the bluff body. We closely examined the velocity field in the groove, where we detected the formation of Karmana vortex street. Software package Ansys CFX 14 was used for simulation of flow conditions and cavitation. The findings show satisfactory match between numerical and experimental results. For a more detailed quantitative comparison it would make sense to continue the work in the direction of improving the transmission equation of homogeny model or by using more complex two equation models. |
