Povzetek
V globalnem, hitro spreminjajočem se svetu so motivirani zaposleni najpomembnejši člen podjetja, a njihovo motiviranje predvsem v času gospodarske krize za vodenje predstavlja velik izziv. Ob tem je ključno, da vodje poznajo tako svoje zaposlene kot njihovo delovno mesto, da jim lahko postavijo transparentne standarde in da jih za dobro opravljeno delo znajo nagraditi. Čeprav je denar ključni motivator, je odločilnega pomena zavedanje, da so le zaposleni tisti, ki lahko ''dvignejo'' podjetje - brez njih je odlično vodenje brez pomena. Problem, ki smo ga zaznali, je premajhno posvečanje vodij svojim zaposlenim in njihovi motivaciji. Vodje svoje delo v večji meri posvetijo izpolnjevanju finančnih planov, preračunavanju optimiziranja stroškov, produktivnosti ..., premalo se zavedajo pomembnosti človeškega faktorja. Kot študijski primer smo vzeli majhno podjetje Linea Media d. o. o.
V prvem delu diplomskega dela smo opredelili vodenje v majhnem podjetju, dobrega vodjo, pomen moči, komunikacije in čustvene inteligence za uspešno vodenje, povezali motivacijo in stile vodenja za uspešnost podjetja ter navedli primere dobrih praks uspešnih podjetij.
V drugem, empiričnem delu, je sledila raziskava o vodenju in motivaciji v Linea Medii d. o. o., majhnem podjetju. Skozi poglobljene intervjuje z vodji in anketnim vprašalnikom za zaposlene smo analizirali njihovo vodenje, motivacijo ter njihov vpliv na zaposlene. Zanimalo nas je, kakšen mora biti dober vodja, da pozitivno vpliva na svoje zaposlene in jih zna tudi motivirati – kakšne so njegove kompetence, osebnostne lastnosti, način vodenja, motivacijske sposobnosti.
Če vodje želijo biti uspešni pri svojem delu in pri motiviranju zaposlenih, jih morajo zelo dobro poznati. Timsko delo je najboljpogostejši način vodenja, demokratičen stil je njegova razširjena verzija. Rezultati raziskave v podjetju Linea Media d. o. o. so pokazali, da demokratičen način vodenja uporablja le eden od treh vodij – tudi njegovim podrejenim ta stil najbolj ustreza in se pod njegovim vodstvom dobro počutijo. Na uspešno vodenje vpliva tudi temperament vodje – vodje v študijskem podjetju so po temperamentu kolerik, sangvinik in flegmatik. Najuspešnejši je pričakovano sangvinik s svojim demokratičnim načinom vodenja.
Z diplomskim delom smo potrdili predvidevanja, da dobra motivacija in zadovoljstvo delavcev pozitivno vplivata na uspešnost celotnega podjetja

In a global rapidly changing world motivated employee are the company’s most important instrument, but their motivation is especially during the time of economic crisis a challenge. It is essential that leaders know their staff and the expectations of their workplace so they can set transparent standards and know how to reward their employee. While money is the key motivator it is crucial to recognize the fact that employee are the only ones who can ''lift up'' the company - without them even excellent leadership is meaningless. The problem we have noticed is: leaders do not put sufficient attention to their employee and to their motivation, they invest it to the fulfilment of financial plans, cost optimization, productivity ... - they do not realize the importance of the human factor. As a case study we took a small company Linea Media Ltd.
In the first part of the thesis we have defined leadership in a small company, a good leader, the importance of power, communication and emotional intelligence for successful leadership, we have connected motivation and leadership styles with companies' good performance and gave examples of good practices.
The second, empirical part followed by research on leadership and motivation in our study case company Linea Media Ltd. Through in-depth interviews with leaders and a questionnaire for employee we have analysed leadership of leaders, their motivation and their impact on employee. We were interested to find a good leader’s competences, personal characteristics, style of leadership and techniques he uses to motivate the employee.
If leaders want to be successful in their work and in motivating the employee they must be very familiar with them. Teamwork is the most widespread method of leadership; democratic style is its extended version. The results of the research in our study case company Media Ltd showed that a democratic style of leadership is performed by only one among three leaders - his staff finds this style the best one and they feel very comfortable under his leadership. Successful leadership is also influenced by the character of the leaders - leaders in the study case company are by the character choleric, sanguine and phlegmatic. The most successful one is expectedly sanguine by its democratic style of leadership.
The thesis confirmed our predictions that good motivation and employee satisfaction have a positive impact on the performance of the entire company. |
