Povzetek
Živimo v času tehnološke revolucije, saj se z vsakim dnem tehnologija vedno bolj izboljšuje in prinaša mnoge družbene in tehnološke spremembe ter izzive. Tehnološki dosežki na področju komunikacije, informacije in računalništva niso spremenili le življenja slehernega posameznika in družbe kot entitete, pač pa so močno posegli tudi v vzgojno-izobraževalni sistem. Napredovanje izobraževalne tehnologije lahko opazimo v moderniziranih učilnicah z računalniki, diaprojektorji, interaktivnimi tablicami idr., prav tako pa tudi učenci pri svojem učenju in vsakdanjih dogodivščinah uporabljajo novodobno tehnologijo v obliki pametnih tablic in telefonov ter drugih tehnoloških izdelkov, ki so na voljo. Vdor tehnologije v izobraževanje prinaša s sabo tudi spremembe v obliki in načinu poučevanja ter uporabi sodobnejših pedagoških sredstev. Množično posluževanje elektronskega izobraževanja in uporaba elektronskih gradiv, katerih medij predstavlja računalnik, nadomeščajo klasična tiskana gradiva in tradicionalno poučevanje. In prav zaradi teh sprememb smo se v magistrskem delu z naslovom Evalvacija matematičnega i-učbenika za gimnazije odločili preveriti, kakšne so prednosti sodobnejšega načina izobraževanja in ali je pouk z elektronskimi gradivi res kvalitetnejši. Najprej smo v teoretičnem delu spoznali elektronsko izobraževanje in sodobno izobraževalno tehnologijo, opisali kombinirano izobraževanje, se poglobili v poučevanje z elektronskimi gradivi in podrobneje predstavili i-učbenik, ki smo ga v empiričnem delu evalvirali in analizirali, nato pa smo predstavili tudi tipe matematičnih znanj, podrobneje predstavili pristop k poučevanju geometrije in nazadnje umestili obravnavano snov geometrije v učni načrt. Empirični del zajema predstavitev pedagoškega eksperimenta, s pomočjo katerega smo primerjali učne dosežke dijakov pri tradicionalnem poučevanju s tiskanimi učbeniki in poučevanju z elektronskimi gradivi, natančneje z i-učbenikom za matematiko. Zanimali so nas rezultati med skupinama, torej kateri način pouka bo kvalitetnejši oz. katera skupina dijakov bo dosegla boljše učne rezultate. Najpomembnejše ugotovitve magistrskega dela so, da je učenje s sodobnimi elektronskimi gradivi res naprednejše in prinaša boljše učne dosežke, saj je eksperimentalna skupina ob koncu pedagoškega eksperimenta s finalnim testom dosegla višje rezultate oziroma se je povprečje med rezultati statistično značilno raziskovalo od kontrolne skupine, ki pa je glede na splošne matematične sposobnosti učencev bila primerljiva z eksperimentalno skupino. Ugotovili smo tudi, da i-učbeniki kljub svoji učinkovitosti in visoki stopnji dinamičnosti in interaktivnosti še vedno potrebujejo nekaj izboljšav (npr. za slabovidne), za kar menimo, da bodo v prihodnosti zagotovo poskrbeli.

We live in a time of technological revolution since technology has been improving and it has brought many social and technological changes and challenges. Technological developments in the field of communication, information and computing not only changed the life of every individual and the society as an entity but they also strongly affected educational system. Progress of educational technology can be seen in modernized classrooms with computers, slide projectors, interactive whiteboards etc., as well as students in their learning and everyday adventures use new-age technology such as smart tablets, smart phones and other technology products available. The invasion of technology into education has brought some changes in the field of forms and methods of teaching and the use of modern teaching resources. Traditional printed materials and traditional teaching are replaced by ever increasing electronic teaching and the use of electronic materials, the media of which is a computer. It is precisely because of these changes we decided to examine advantages of modern teaching methods and whether the teaching using electronic materials is better, which is presented in this master's thesis entitled Evaluation of mathematics i-textbook in gymnasium. Firstly, electronic education, modern educational technology, blended education, teaching using electronic materials are presented in the theoretical part, as well as i-textbook which is also evaluated and analysed in the empirical part of the thesis. Secondly, types of mathematical knowledge and approach to teaching geometry are presented. Finally, the presented geometry subject was placed into the curriculum. The empirical part of the thesis includes the presentation of the pedagogical experiment through which we compared the students' achievements with the traditional teaching with printed textbooks and electronic teaching materials, namely mathematical i-textbooks. We were interested in the results between the two groups - which group would be of a higher quality or which group of students would achieve better educational outcomes. The main findings of this master thesis are that learning with modern electronic materials is really advanced since it provides better learning outcomes as the experimental group with the final test at the end of the pedagogical experiment scored better results and the average score was significantly higher than the control group, which was comparable to the experimental group in terms of students' general mathematical abilities. We have also found out that despite their efficiency and a high level of dynamism and interactivity e-textbooks still need to be improved (e. g. for visually impaired), which they certainly will be in the future. |
