Povzetek
Najbolj sporno in aktualno vprašanje 21. stoletja je globalno segrevanje. Kdo je krivec zanj, kaj ga povzroča in kakšne vplive bo imelo na človeštvo? Zemeljsko površje segreva velik spekter dejavnikov, mi pa smo se osredotočili na dva zelo pomembna, in sicer pridelavo hrane ter sam transport hrane, saj sta oba velika proizvajalca emisij in toplogrednih plinov, kar pomeni večje onesnaževanje. Ugotavljali smo, ali večje onesnaževanje predstavlja sam transport hrane ali pridelava hrane. Prav tako smo izvedli raziskavo o osveščenosti ljudi in tem, kaj vpliva na njihove odločitve.
Po oceni in vrednotenju smo ugotovili, da kljub velikemu onesnaževalcu - transportu hrane - ne smemo pozabiti na njeno pridelavo. Ugotovili smo, da v veliko primerih povzroča prenos hrane iz ene točke v drugo manj škode kot pa sama proizvodnja, vendar sta med seboj tako soodvisna, da je potrebno ravnovesje tako enega kot drugega. Prav tako smo prišli do spoznanja, da so ljudje še zmeraj premalo osveščeni o tem, kar se dogaja z okoljem. Navajeni smo se prehranjevati izvensezonsko in še zmeraj dajemo prevelik poudarek ceni živil.

The most controversial and topical issue of 21st century is global warming. Who is the culprit for it, what effects will have on humanity. Earth`s surface in heated by large range of factors; we will focus on two very important, namely food production and food transport, since they are both large producers of greenhouse gas emissions which mean more pollution. We also conducted a survey on the awereness of people and how this affects their decisions.
According to the assessment and evaluation, we found that despite the significant polluter like transport, we must not forget about food production. We have found that in many cases the transfer of food from one point to another makes less damage than the production itself. However, they are so interdependent that it is necessary to balance booth, one and the other. We have also come to realize that people are still insufficiently aware of what is happening to the environment. We are used to eat out of season and we still put too much emphasis on the price of food. |
