Povzetek
Namen magistrskega dela je predstaviti pridobivanje znanja tujega jezika v osnovni šoli. V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge smo se osredotočili na pridobivanje znanja angleščine kot prvega tujega jezika. Predstavili smo mišljenje, miselne zmožnosti in tuji jezik; temu poglavju sledi poglavje o znanju in tujem jeziku. Teoretični del smo zaključili s poglavjem o osnovnošolskem procesu poučevanja in učenja angleškega jezika v Sloveniji, Španiji in na Švedskem. Proučili smo učne načrte za učenje in poučevanje angleškega jezika ter jih med seboj primerjali, pri čemer smo ugotovili, kako se učni načrti med državami razlikujejo ter kakšen vpliv imajo na uspešnost slovenskih, španskih in švedskih učencev. V empiričnem delu magistrske naloge smo preverili znanje angleškega jezika na razredni in predmetni stopnji osnovne šole. Cilj raziskave je bil testiranje učencev dveh starostnih skupin iz treh različnih držav, s čimer smo ugotovili, kako njihove učne izkušnje na področju angleškega jezika vplivajo na znanje le-tega. Raziskava je potekala v Sloveniji, Španiji in na Švedskem. Iskali smo razlike v znanju angleškega jezika glede na državo in razred (starost učencev). Zanimala nas je razlika v znanju učencev 4. in 6. razreda v Sloveniji, Španiji in na Švedskem. Rezultate smo pridobili s pomočjo testa znanja. Kažejo, da so bili med četrtošolci najbolj uspešni švedski učenci, sledijo jim učenci iz Slovenije, nato pa še iz Španije. Raziskovali smo tudi, kako uspešni so bili učenci 6. razreda osnovne šole. Najvišje rezultate so dosegli učenci iz Slovenije, sledijo jim švedski, nato še španski učenci.

The purpose of this master's thesis is to present the correlation between the acquisition of knowledge and the foreign language learning in a primary school. The theoretical part of the master's thesis focuses on the first foreign language learning - English, presented are contemplation and cognitive abilities regarding a foregin language. The following chapter encompasses knowledge and foreign language in general. The theoretical part concludes with a chapter on the process of teaching and learning English in Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. The curricula for teaching and learning English in all three countries were examined and compared. We present the differences and similarities of curricula and their influence on the performance of Slovenian, Spanish and Swedish students. In the empirical part of the master's thesis the level of knowledge of the English language at the primary and upper-secondary school level was tested. The aim of the research was to test students from two age groups and three different countries, thus establishing their aptitude in a foreign language. Research was conducted in Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. We searched for differences in English proficiency in relation to the country and class (age of students) and differences of knowledge between students of the 4th and 6th grade, in all three countries. The results were obtained through a knowledge test. A comparison of the results has been created from testing knowledge of a foreign language in primary school. The results show that in the fourth grade, Swedish students are the most successful, followed by students from Slovenia and Spain. On the other hand in the 6th grade the best results were achived by students from Slovenia, followed by Sweden and Spain. |
