Povzetek

V diplomskem delu Planinske vsebine v programu gibalnih dejavnosti vrtca, smo raziskali planinske vsebine, s katerimi v vrtcu spodbujamo gibalni razvoj predšolskih otrok. V teoretičnem delu naloge smo pregledali razvojne značilnosti predšolskih otrok, področja otrokovega razvoja in proučili dejavnike, ki pomembno vplivajo na otrokov razvoj. Proučili smo hojo kot sestavni del razvoja motorike otroka, njen pomen za ohranjanje zdravja, krepitev srčno-žilnega in dihalnega sistema. Predstavili smo možnosti za izvajanje planinskih vsebin v vrtcu, pregledali smo planinske vsebine v rednih in dodatnih dejavnostih vrtca. Povezali smo jih z vsemi področji kurikula. Proučili smo jih na splošno in v Programu vrtca Slovenska Bistrica. V empiričnem delu smo uporabili deskriptivno in kavzalno-neeksperimentalno metodo.

Sekundarni povzetek: In the diploma paper Mountaineering as Part of the Physical Activity Programme in Kindergartens we researched mountaineering programmes which are used in kindergarten in order to encourage the development of motor skills in pre-school children. In the theoretical part of the paper we overviewed the developmental characteristics of pre-school children, the fields of child development and examined the factors which have important influence on a child's development. We further studied walking as a constituent part of the motoric development of a child and its importance in terms of maintaining health and strengthening the cardio-vascular and respiratory systems. We introduced possibilities for the application of the mountaineering programmes in kindergarten and studied them within the curricular and extra-curricular kindergarten activities. We integrated them into all parts of the curriculum and studied them in general, as well as within the Syllabus of the Slovenska Bistrica kindergarten. In the empirical part, a descriptive and causal nonexperimental methodology was used. In the questionnaire we surveyed 90 female and male pre-school teachers and established that older pre-school teachers and pre-school teachers with lower levels of education execute mountaineering programmes more often; children in the second period of their pre-school years have more mountaineering programmes included in their curriculum, and those children who are involved in mountaineering activities on a regular basis have fewer problems in assimilating more difficult motoric challenges. We further established that taking part in mountaineering activities plays an important part in children being more active in the outdoors during their free time. It strengthens their physical immunity and enables physical activities to be carried out within nature throughout the year. The majority of pre-school teachers have mountaineering excursions included in their Annual work plan. Pre-school teachers from the suburban kindergartens are more likely to carry out the planned form of walking.
