Abstract

Secondary title: Usefulness and usefulness of the food pyramid and food plate through the pupils eyes
Secondary abstract: Visualization is an important element of quality teaching of nutritional content. With a study involving 69 students aged from 11 to 12, we wanted to find out which of the visual guidelines of healthy eatihgfood pyramid or food plate were used more often by students to solve selected tasks. A survey questionnare was created for the purpose of research. The results of the research indicate superficial knowledge of the nutritional content studied. The reasons for this could also be sought in superficial reading of dietary visualization schemes. The results also showed the danger of incorrect interpretation of nutritional recommendations, and suggest on the need for reflection on the refinement of visualization schemes.
