diplomsko delo
Abstract
Diplomsko delo z naslovom Izvajanje matematičnih aktivnosti s predšolskimi otroki in njihovimi starši na daljavo s pomočjo Zooma sestavljata teoretični in praktični del.

Conducting math activities with preschoolers and their parents remotely by using Zoom |
Secondary abstract: |
The thesis entitled Conducting math activities with preschoolers and their parents remotely by using Zoom consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part, we introduced maths as part of the Kindergarten Curriculum, the different areas of maths, the importance of play for children and how play can develop maths skills. We focus on the importance of adults, both educators and parents, in the development of children's mathematical skills, and describe in general terms a topic that has been topical since the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic: distance learning. In the practical part, we present remote maths sessions that we carried out with five families with preschool children. We introduced three maths games suitable for preschoolers to children and parents remotely and tested the influence of parents on preschoolers' remote maths activities. We found that the presence of parents in the remote maths activities is crucial for their successful implementation. Parents were the ones who helped the children with the computer equipment, while they were also additional motivators who encouraged the children to actively participate in the activities |
