Abstract

Secondary title: Safety of collaborative robot application for assembly process in industry
Secondary abstract: The collaborative robotic cell (application) presented in this thesis can be collaborative because it ensures the operator's safety when working with the robot. The application includes the assembly of an assembly from the automotive industry. The application was realized on the collaborative robot UR5 in the Industrial Robotics Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor. We also planned an industrial application with the UR5e collaborative robot. This robot is considered an improved version of the UR5 robot and contains many more safety-adjustable features. ISO 10218-1 and ISO 10218-2 standards and ISO/TS 15066 technical specification have been studied to ensure the operator’s safety.
