Abstract

Svetinova dramatika je svojevrsten fenomen v jezikovnem, tematskem in medbesedilnem smislu. Raziskovanje etičnih, seksualnih, političnih in eksistencialnih problemov avtor umešča v eksotične in delirične svetove ali prelomne zgodovinske situacije. S tako potujitvijo razpira tabuizirane, v nezavedno potlačene impulze, ki jih je v daljni preteklosti urejal mit, danes pa jih je mogoče izreči v poetični govorici literature.

Secondary abstract:	Ivo Svetina's dramatic work is an original phenomenon in terms of language, content and reference to other texts. His exploration of ethical, sexual, political and existential problems is set in exotic, delirious worlds or decisive historical situations. By means of such estrangement the dramatist deals with taboos and unconscious impulses that were in the remote past regulated by myths and can in modern times be articulated by poetic literary discourse.
