Abstract

V vsakdanjem življenju je jezik osnovna možnost za medsebojno sporazumevanje in sodelovanje. Ena izmed komunikacijskih dejavnosti je tudi branje, ki predstavlja sredstvo za pridobivanje različnih informacij. Vendar je branje oziroma učenje uspešno šele takrat, ko učenec prebrano tudi razume. Na bralno učinkovitost učencev vplivajo različne dejavnosti. Učenci imajo pri branju besedila pogosto težave, zato je pomembno, da otroke spodbujamo k uporabi različnih bralnih tehnik, metod in strategij. Le-te moramo dobro poznati in jih ustrezno uporabljati. Med vsemi praktičnimi tehnikami in metodami je pomembno to, da so uporabne in ne vzamejo veliko časa za izvajanje. Z bralnimi tehnikami, metodami in strategijami pri učencih nadgrajujemo in izboljšujemo hitrost ter pravilnost pri branju, povečujemo besednjak in izboljšamo razumevanje pri branju. Učinkovitost le-teh sem preizkusila v dveh tretjih razredih devetletne osnovne šole. Napredek pri učencih eksperimentalnega razreda se je pokazal že po šestih mesecih uporabe različnih praktičnih tehnik in metod.

Secondary abstract: Language is a basic source of reciprocal communication and cooperation in everyday life. Reading is one of the communicative activities and it is one of the means which enables information gain. However, reading or learning is successful, when a student understands what he/she has read. There are different activities which influence students' reading effectiveness. Students often have problems while reading texts, thus, it is important to encourage them to use different reading techniques, methods and strategies. We should be familiar with them and they should be adequately used. The most important is the usefulness of techniques and methods and their preforming should not last too long. With help of the reading techniques, methods and strategies we upgrade and increase rates of reading and its correctness, vocabulary is increased and reading comprehension is improved. I have tested the effectiveness of those in two 3rd grade primary school classes. The improvement of experimental class was noticed after six months after different techniques and methods had been introduced and used.
