Secondary abstract: |
Playing is an essential need in a child's pre-school period. By playing a child is getting to know the world, gathering experience and learning. Playing has an impact to the development of a child's motorical abilities and skills, as well as to a cognitive, emotional, social, moral and personal development. In order to ensure and encourage a successful development, a child is offered games and invited to make them on his/her own. Social games or games with rules are a type of such appropriate games.
The research carried out in Angelca Ocepek kindergarten Jesenice showed that making social games can encourage three- and four-year-olds to play with them. Through making of a game we can influence a child's working skills and habits as well as organisational abilities. |
