We will discuss a signalling problem, initial-value problem, initial - value problem on an infinite string, vibrating string of a given length with different motion modes and the use of Fourier series to solve one of the chosen model problems.

Abstract (ePrints):	V tem delu si bomo podrobneje ogledali predvsem reševanje valovne enačbe. Ločili bomo signalni oziroma začetni problem, problem začetnih vrednosti na neomejenem intervalu, nihanja strune določene dolžine ter uporabo Fourierovih vrst za reševanje nekaterih modelnih problemov.
