Povzetek
Glavni namen študije je raziskati kompetence učiteljev razrednega pouka za poučevanje predmeta šport, pri čemer smo preverili, ali se učitelji razrednega pouka čutijo dovolj kompetentni za izvajanje predmeta šport, kako na kompetentnost vplivajo posamezni dejavniki, kje so pridobili ustrezne kompetence in kako jih nadgrajujejo. Študija je temeljila na ne slučajnostnem namenskem vzorcu in je vključevala 140 učiteljev razrednega pouka, ki poučujejo tudi šport. Zbiranje podatkov je potekalo na osnovnih šolah v Podravju, v obliki anketnega vprašalnika, pri čemer smo za namene analize uporabili 110 v popolnoma izpolnjenih anketnih vprašalnikov. Podatke smo obdelali na nivoju deskriptivne in inferenčne statistike, pri čemer smo uporabili statistični program SPSS. Rezultati prikazujejo, da se učitelji razrednega pouka ocenjujejo kot kompetentne za poučevanje predmeta šport, posledično pa ugotavljamo, da razvitost lastnih kompetenc vrednotijo relativno visoko. Učitelji pri sebi še ugotavljajo šibkosti na določenih vsebinskih področjih predmeta, kot so gimnastika, ples in plavanje, ter se zavedajo pomembnosti razvoja in nadgradnje kompetenc. Kljub zavedanju šibkih področij in želji po izboljšanju kompetentnosti, je prisotnost na dodatnih strokovnih izobraževanjih še zmeraj prešibka. Učitelji se najraje poslužujejo izobraževanj s pomočjo strokovne literature in sodelovanja s športnimi pedagogi ter kažejo zadovoljstvo z obsegom ponudbe dodatnih izobraževalnih programov. Novosti redno prenašajo v prakso.

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the competencies of primary school teachers for teaching physical education (PE) by examining if the teachers feel able to teach PE, how individual factors impact the ability, where the knowledge needed to teach PE was obtained, and how this knowledge is advanced. The study is based on a non-probable purposive sample and includes 140 teachers of first-level primary education, which also teach PE. The data were collected in the form of a questionnaire at primary schools in the Podravje region - 110 completely answered questionnaires were used for the analysis. The acquired data were treated on the levels of descriptive and inferential statistics using the SPSS platform for statistical analysis. The results showed that primary school teachers feel competent to teach PE, and consequently, we are discovering that they value the level of their own teaching abilities relatively high. Teachers also point to their own shortcomings in certain areas of the subject, pointing out gymnastics, dancing, and swimming, and despite them being aware of their weak areas and a desire for improvement, their attendance at additional training programmes remains unsatisfactory. The teachers' preferred method of training is through expert literature and cooperation with sports pedagogues, and they are satisfied with the offer of additional training programmes. They regularly put new skills from training seminars to practice. |
